Tiggie Posted May 14, 2020 Posted May 14, 2020 Have you been moonlighting during lockdown Stu ? Quote
Stu Posted May 14, 2020 Posted May 14, 2020 Never!! I would have at least made it down the escalator Quote
Tiggie Posted May 14, 2020 Author Posted May 14, 2020 Thankfully it happened during quarantine so not too many around.I do wonder how it happened though. I first thought it could be brake failure but then I remember reading something about how airbrakes lock on if something goes wrong with the braking system. Unless I'm wrong about that which is always likely Quote

Tiggie Posted May 14, 2020 Author Posted May 14, 2020 Stu I was thinking it might get busier now as they'll need to run more buses than normal as they cant put as many people on board Quote
Stu Posted May 14, 2020 Posted May 14, 2020 @Stu I was thinking it might get busier now as they'll need to run more buses than normal as they cant put as many people on board It may get busier and more buses but we will be at less than 25% capacity Quote
Guest Swagman Posted May 14, 2020 Posted May 14, 2020 Yes more buses but cost to run them will be tripled because the more buses the more fuel and drivers, bus companies simply cannot afford that. Quote
Bender Posted May 14, 2020 Posted May 14, 2020 (edited) I nearly had my head removed by an air actuator, was driving past a wagon with trailer and suddenly a huge bang, it took out my side window and shot a cross the dash, half of the actuator drum had made it into my van, was lucky it missed me, I can confirm the wagon did come to a stop.
