I do wonder how it happened though. I first thought it could be brake failure but then I remember reading something about how airbrakes lock on if something goes wrong with the braking system. Unless I'm wrong about that which is always likely

No you're right they do lock on

Probably a medical episode of some form! or got off the bus and left the handbrake off and in gear!

It may get busier and more buses but we will be at less than 25% capacity

Yes more buses but cost to run them will be tripled because the more buses the more fuel and drivers, bus companies simply cannot afford that.

I nearly had my head removed by an air actuator, was driving past a wagon with trailer and suddenly a huge bang, it took out my side window and shot a cross the dash, half of the actuator drum had made it into my van, was lucky it missed me, I can confirm the wagon did come to a stop.

Yeah that's right the air pressure releases the brakes and if you lose air then the brakes lock on
