Guest Swagman Posted May 19, 2020 Posted May 19, 2020 What is it with pictures not posting the right way up, I have to mess around for ages is it just a problem with IPhone. Quote
Tiggie Posted May 19, 2020 Posted May 19, 2020 Happens with android too, think its a mobile thing Stu is this something you are aware of? or are we all being muppets and doing it wrong? Quote
rennie Posted May 19, 2020 Author Posted May 19, 2020 It used to do it before! then it was ok.seems to be since the last android update I had to fanny about for ages to get pics from phone to laptop Quote
Guest Swagman Posted May 19, 2020 Posted May 19, 2020 I post straight from the I pad, I’ve tried turning the photo before posting and it comes out just the same so went upside down right to left in the end I put it back to normal and it posted the right way up. Quote
rennie Posted May 19, 2020 Author Posted May 19, 2020 Stu sorted it last time!Something has obviously changedwe'll see what he says (he'll blame me! ) Quote
Guest Posted May 19, 2020 Posted May 19, 2020 It's the Exif Orientation on your pic coming from the camera rennie.Stu needs to pass them through a photo editor to correct it.He probably hasn't done it yet to make you look like a twat! That's how his kind roll! Quote
Tiggie Posted May 19, 2020 Posted May 19, 2020 In this day and age I didnt think someone's orientation mattered anymore Quote

That's how his kind roll! This is almost right It's been a known problem with the software for years and there is a fix which I always apply with every update but for some reason things have changed again I will get it fixed again! Stu Posted May 19, 2020 Posted May 19, 2020 But what I don't get is all my pics are taken with my phone and I have no issues Quote
Guest Posted May 19, 2020 Posted May 19, 2020 But what I don't get is all my pics are taken with my phone and I have no issues Generally all my photos go into a photo editor first.......and that will automatically pick up on the EXIF orientation anomaly.None of my Androids have ever done that......but I do remember earlier model IPhones generating them sideways. Is the issue the seat height Ian? Quote
rennie Posted May 19, 2020 Author Posted May 19, 2020 Hard to quantify! yes but more the peg height/position.By the end I couldn't get my feet on/off the pegs on the Blade.I could on the Fazer1000 but getting my foot down when I stopped was a bit dodgyand I could only ride for about 40 minutes.I could ride the cruiser for hours but I want to overtake things and filter!I also think I push the cruiser too hard trying to make it do things it's not meant to! You're going to have to try a few bikes out and see what's a good fit for you.Modern retro might be an option...... Quote
rennie Posted May 19, 2020 Author Posted May 19, 2020 Yes! That's on the list I'll only find something else to moan about whatever I get! That's just the way it is Quote
