Tiggie Posted May 23, 2020 Posted May 23, 2020 Just took this from the Carol Nash website CAN I GET MOTORBIKE INSURANCE IF I’M NOT A UK RESIDENT?If you’re a non-UK resident and you’re spending a short amount of time in the United Kingdom, getting motorbike insurance is likely to be much more difficult. With little insurance history available, most insurance underwriters are reluctant to offer insurance to those who aren’t considered to be a resident of the UK. https://www.carolenash.com/motorbike-insurance/hub/can-i-get-motorbike-insurance-foreign-licence/It might be an uphill battle Quote
Tiggie Posted May 23, 2020 Posted May 23, 2020 Are you trying to get him insured on his own or just added to your policy? Wondering if that would be more doable Quote
briand1960 Posted May 23, 2020 Author Posted May 23, 2020 Thanks tried both routes apparently it was OK to do a few years ago and there is a suggestion the specialist insurers will cover but can’t find one that will Quote
