geofferz Posted August 28, 2020 Posted August 28, 2020 Pretty sure there is only 1 legal style of L plate that must be displayed upright, out front in front... Quote
bonio Posted August 28, 2020 Posted August 28, 2020 You can get kits to mount them to one of the forks, like this. I used some neoprene to protect the forks. Here's how they look from the front. Quote
dragon567 Posted August 28, 2020 Author Posted August 28, 2020 Thanks bonio I thought one at front could go there. Nice bike too. Quote
skyrider Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 when i first started riding the lads i knocked about with used to wrap their L plates round their front forks and that was certainly frowned apon Quote
dynax Posted August 30, 2020 Posted August 30, 2020 I made a bracket that used some existing fixings for the front cover and placed just above the headlight in a near vertical position, only took a few minutes to put it together Quote

Because i had the L's fitted before i got the screen Also because when i first got the bike the dealer stuck on a self adhesive type on and after a year it was looking a bit worse for wear, so i decided to replace it with a rigid plastic type and it was a twat to remove, doing it this way only takes 2 screws to undo and it's off Quote
SometimesSansEngine Posted August 30, 2020 Posted August 30, 2020 and it was a twat to remove When I passed my mod 2 I tried to do a symbolic tearing off of my L-plate on my Honda. It wasn't quite as smooth and cool looking a process as I hoped Quote
