Welcome. I'm the same age but nowhere near retirement but my time off is usually on a Friday and the occasional Thursday. It's not easy to find riding buddies midweek but we sometimes get a group around Northwich and head into Wales.

For local bikers see if there's a local Facebook group and where they meet up.

Thanks for your reply. I ride out to North Wales now and then. When I say semi retired I still work 4 days a week. Like you say it's hard finding ride outs mid week. Not being someone who uses social media it's hard finding the right buddy to ride out with but I'll keep searching. Sean

I have the same problem mate, I work shifts, which means most of my days off are on week days when my mates are working, I tend to miss out on the weekend ride outs quite a bit.
