skyrider
the thing with those bikes is when they are ticking over every now and then it sounds like there is something about to come loose and spin off

Copycat73
Ducati ... marmite .. had one won't have another.. and the loud pipes won`t bode well wit the sound scameras that are commin.... the other thing was the maintenance schedule and the difficulty of following it .. had to to remove the fcukin exhaust to clean the oil filter .. had to buy a socket set & torque wrench off a truck to remove the back wheel ... S-Westerly
Sounds a whole lot better when it's got a bit of load on it. Idling isn't it's best sound.
Bologna998
I once took my 998 to the garage of my employer for a tyre change. That one's dry clutch was open. When I rode it across the factory premises, the safety manager came to me and said: Be careful, I think something's broken about your bike About maintenance. This bike is from the 90s, so there will be some maintenance, but it is so rare that I won't punish her too much anyway
