Run out to Shipston then onto super sausage today. Had light rain for some of the ride.

Several sets of road works were encountered which had dragged mud and other debris onto the road which made for some fun riding.

Lunch at Super sausage made up for the trials and tribulations though.

Then Back home via Daventry.

Not a bad run out

XTreme no pictures I’m afraid, too wet and cold to stop.

I could murder some of that right now!

Not bad, but the ratio of tomato to sausage is a little high for my liking

yeah maybe another egg and sausage would be good and what happened to the mushrooms and black pudding

brown sauce for fook sake

Well I already had real tomatoes so why not.

Childs portion?

I’d already had a good breakfast and a cooked tea was for later so just had a light all day breakfast.

Well that was the huge all day breakfast. Wasn’t able for that as I’d already had breakfast an£ a cooked tea was scheduled for later. And don’t want to have to fork out for new riding gear because of an expanding waistline.

Maybe we need a "Best Breakfast for Bikers" thread. Believe it or not, I'd nominate the Bike Shed in Shoreditch... absolutely superb every time, and when you're finished you can just go and buy some bike goodies! And you'll be served even without a beard and a checked shirt.

I must admit I always preferred a butty for breakfast:

Never found anywhere that does a decent butty down here in the south, my favourite was in Liverpool a "Breakfast Bin Lid".

A sandwich place i used to use in Bradford years ago did a Belly Buster, it was a barm bun which was the the size of a dinnerplate, and it was filled with a full brekky, 3 sausages, 3 rashers of bacon, 2 eggs, beans, grilled tomatoes and plum tomatoes, black pudding if you wanted it, this was back in the mid 90's and was a couple of quid inc a tea or coffee :thumb:
