Said they were forced to stop a long time ago. Quote

When we first saw the sunsets we get here (in Cumbria) we noticed they tended to look like those that appeared in television shows about Africa. This from a few weeks ago… Quote

Mississippi Bullfrog Posted June 21, 2024 Posted June 21, 2024 Sometimes life is tough. Due to family commitments my variety of mates couldn't all ride on the one day. So as it's my week off I've arranged rides on both Thursday and Friday. Yesterday was Sleap aerodrome for brekky. Today it's Old Stores. Then a prom ride this evening for a the daughter of another mate. She wants to arrive on the back of her dad's bike accompanied by a lot of badass bikers. It's not even as if I get a quiet weekend to recover. We're taking the smaller granddaughter to the beach - she's never been to a beach before. I expect much sand will be eaten. 3 2 Quote

Sounds absolutely awesome! Better than getting fat, sitting on the sofa... 1 Quote
Simon Davey Posted June 21, 2024 Posted June 21, 2024 Good afternoon, even though I managed to overheat my tractor 1 Quote
Steve_M Posted June 21, 2024 Posted June 21, 2024 I found a number plate off my old VFR750 - the cartons were a bit of fun and were occasionally an ice breaker on social occasions. The bike is still on the road, I believe. 1 Quote
Mississippi Bullfrog Posted June 21, 2024 Posted June 21, 2024 Just been to escort a young lady to her prom. Choccy was presented. I am now hoovering the patio wearing a crash helmet. Our 3 year old granddaughter believes this to be the ultimate way to spend Friday evening. 1 4 Quote

Steve_M Posted June 22, 2024 Posted June 22, 2024 Good evening. A fine one - a bottle of rosé has already been consumed between us while sitting outside and putting the world to rights. A bottle of 19 Crimes red is about to be opened to round off the evening while watching some brain out entertainment on television. Life is good 3 Quote
