The collectables!

I liberated a can of GT85 from my old work. I was looking for something in the stationery store and found boxes of it. No idea why, presume it was a mistake. From my present work they have turned a blind eye to us taking home hand sanitiser and face masks, but I suppose if it keeps us safe, then why not.

I was an apprentice at BL / Austin Rover, wearing the green overall with a yellow collar  gave us access all areas, also knowledge of the ways off plant without getting stopped.

One lad got rumbled when sneaking out a head lamp wrapped in his overalls, they went to his. Parents place & found an Alladins cave of nicked parts he was selling - he got 6 months - 1st offence, we kind of took it easy after that.

Way back I worked at Suzuki GB when they were based in Beddington Lane Croydon when I left a lot of the warehouse guys were raided as the higher management were sure they were at it so to speak.

Quite a few were convicted including race dept guys.

The funny part was that a couple of the higher management got caught up in the operation and apparently anything we minions were up to was way outstripped by the suits lol.

Cheers

Ian
