Well it's that time again, insurance is down to £116. Don't think I can be arsed with price comparison for that 😁

I think I need to shop around this year, Mines due in June .... Which company did you use?  Thats a pretty good price you got there 👍

Hastings direct, was originally through comparison site but it's come down both years so far, fully comp, protected no claims if that's worth anything.

I have stayed with Bennett's for the last 4 maybe 5 years due to a really competitive quote!

So competitive that the next cheapest with the same level of cover was over £100 more!

A marketing ploy. I was looking at some Keis Heated Inner Gloves £69 - using Bennetts rewards save 15% with Get Geared but I have to spend over £100 with Get Geared to qualify for the 15% discount. You can claim a 10% Halfords discount voucher though, for what its worth

I have a halfords trade card courtesy of @Mr Fro from a few years ago so have never bothered with the 10% discount voucher

Unfortunately here the max NCD you can get is 50% and you only get that after 13 years of no claims........I often wondered why so many French cars have dings in the bodywork that haven't been repaired......I now have my answer!

Honda CB500X- €310 (and that's with full NCD!)

Ouch.

Apparently there's going to be an increase in private speed catchers too, they obviously realised there's money to be made.

The number of unmarked speed detection cars operated by private companies is set to triple on roads in France this year, road authority la Sécurité routière has announced. The number of vehicles is set to increase from 83 to 223 by the end of the year, it said in a press release on Thursday

Definately, we love sitting watching the numpties, no matter how many bumps to get into a space no one appears to care.

Actually the in-laws car in the UK now looks like it's a Spanish car, although it's a Volvo so it's broke most of the time 😂
