Fletch44 Posted January 5, 2024 Posted January 5, 2024 Hi All, new to the forum so firstly hello everyone. was hoping for a bit of advice. I have my mod 1 training Tuesday and test Wednesday but the weather forecast is freezing conditions. Is it likely they will cancel? Any advice would be really great thanks fletch Quote

Fiddlesticks Posted January 6, 2024 Posted January 6, 2024 Hi and welcome. Had the same thing on mine. Went to the school first thing and they called the centre. If it's properly frosty they could well cancel it, but it will just be how things look on the day. All the best with it. 1 Quote
Slow Joe Posted January 6, 2024 Posted January 6, 2024 The test centre for Mod 1 is probably the best surface you'll ever ride on. Unless frost / ice is still on the centre test pad, it should still go ahead. Take your time, have faith in your tyres and allow for the conditions. And most of all ... good luck. 1 Quote

Blackholesun Posted January 8, 2024 Posted January 8, 2024 Might be a bit late but heated gloves would be great as I did mine in the cold and I wanted to chop my hands off after a while Quote

bonio Posted January 21, 2024 Posted January 21, 2024 Bad luck mate, but you'll get it next time. £224 is a great tutor - and I know this from experience. 2 Quote

Wait. You have to look over your right shoulder when turning left? It's been a long time since I did my test! Good luck with your re-test. At least you know you're doing everything else right! 1 Quote

On a roundabout if there's a lane to the right of you then that's where the baddies could be. 1 Quote
