husoi Posted March 27 Share Posted March 27 A few weeks ago, while replacing the brakes on the Pan I noticed it just become a bucket of rust  During the weekend I tried to remove the fairings. No luck there, most bolts are rusted and won't move. So, order new set of all bolts and plastic fixings for good measure.  Just need to find a way to remove the wee rusted things Thinking on the lines of a reverse thread drill where bolts attach to the frame. Not too worried about the ones connecting the fairings. RideWithStyles Posted March 27 Share Posted March 27 fan fav of penetrating fluids, shock treatment (hammer the tool bit while its in) or a hammer on power tool setting, reverse presser so you try to turn it IN abit more before trying to turn it back out. reverse threading tap is good, failing that drill it out start small and work your way bigger, tapping to clean the tread out. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
