JIS. Screwdriver help.

Can anyone tell me what sizes of JIS are commonly used on Japanese motorbikes?

Most likely No.2, and No.1.

Why not buy a set?

I'm always using a "Phillips" No.2 on my Kawasaki, which I think is the same.

Having said that, it's mostly Alen bolts/screws.

Buy a set. If you use the wrong size you've a good chance of wrecking the head of the screw giving you a whole new set of problems.

You can get most. There's a site which sells loads of Chinese tools and even bike parts. You'd be surprised as lots which you'd find under the  Sealey etc label are here and at a cheaper price.

Thanks for that. Unfortunately Halfords think I'm part of a bot farm because of my web address and won't let me look at their website  

If you could post a screenshot of the set and the sizes therein I'd be grateful. I just want to get an idea of the sizes as I can only find individual ones here

As above re sizes but do get them, the grip and fit is night and day between Jis and pz or ph drivers

I often get mocked for saying this (on Facebook)but when I see people talking about the tool kit they got with their Africa Twin or other Japanese bike. And replacing it. Or improving it. I always say keep the screwdriver even if you replace everything else - keep the screwdriver as it will always be a JIS. And the right size for the few fixings that need it. The most important of which is probably the brake fluid reservoir lid.
