Finding an Insurance Policy

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have recently purchased a motorbike and tried to find a good insurance company to insure my motorcycle. However as I am a 17 year old every insurance company rejects me. Unfortunately I do not have any family members which have a motorbike insurance Policy. What is the best thing to do in my situation?

depends on a few main things- area your in, what bike, mods, security, your history of any accidents, claims, convictions....

if you try an insurance broker, the bike insurer isnt a bad place to start with other than that it's specialists like adrian flux etc.

As @RideWithStyles says, what bike is it, what license do you have, where do you live?

Honda CB125F 2018, I have a provisional licence and live in the North Wales Area

Unfortunately it’s a stealable bike, you are a high risk due to age and a provisional license.

is it comparison sites you are being rejected from.

Have you tried an insurance broker rather than direct to an insurer.

You could try Devitt DA or MCN.

I'm with one call aswell.

My first bike insurance.

I'm £230ish a year, several years no claims on car and work vehicles counts for something apparently.

On L plates since October 2023, 2023 Honda CB125F.

I used (as always even for cars) go compare...
