We'd love your feedback on helmet cleaning services. Your insights will help us improve and ensure we're meeting your expectations.

This survey is quick and only takes a couple of minutes.

Thank you for your time and support! Looking forward to your thoughts.

I've removed the link as it goes to a page that requested switching accounts to gain access.

There is either a problem with what you linked to or something suspect.

I feel a little to blame, it seems with my post elsewhere, I've attracted "a wrong 'un"...... 🤣

obviously i wish you all the luck in the world but i just cant see many people paying for a cleaning service.

I am not saying its not something i could benefit from but i am not going to pay for someone to clean my helmet 🤔 when i can do it myself cheaper and quicker (to a good enough standard).

I'd pay for pro cleaning...

BUT: The pain in the rrrse packing and posting would stop me.

I haven't completed your survey but I looked at it. You're not asking any questions about my willingness to have my helmet transported somewhere and then returned to me, presumably via some sort of courier service.

Not in a million years.

If there was a place that you could stop  whilst you are out and about e.g Service station, petrol station etc. I should have made this clearer on the survey. Appreciate all your feedback :)

Maybe you could be a mobile van?

But business wise, it would take a massive effort to get sales in, and it would be difficult to make sure customers kept their appointments.

Ah right - that makes sense.

With a view to being helpful, can I suggest that you need to give a little more information about your service when asking people to complete the survey.

My immediate questions are:

1) How much will it cost?

2) How long will it take?

3) Will it leave my helmet even slightly damp inside?

4) What will you actually do to my helmet, including what chemicals you'll use?

5) Is there anything that you can do that I can't do? Or is it a 'convenience' service?

It could appeal to me, but I don't think I can provide helpful insight until I know the answers to those questions.

Hi

I’m ill keep it short as I see way more problems than SD and Hairsy have mentioned.

It would be nice for some but don’t see it working as a business whole even as a sideline, sorry.

There is only a few ways it could make some money but it would be a narrow window of opportunities with the few owners having to work around.

its not that it hasn’t been tried before…

When the lining needs cleaning it goes in the washing machine together with the weekly laundry.

Was never lucky enough to get it damaged and have an excuse to get a new one 😁

Most the time when it needs a wash it's time to replace the helmet.

I never share it, so only my head goes in there.

There is no such things as sweating in Scotland 🙂

I'm not sure i see the point of a helmet cleaning service. It's not difficult to keep my Shoei inside and out as clean as I want it. It takes only a few minutes and I'm good to go.
