Even with new alpinestars boots his foot took some damage. He can't walk on it today. Or move his arm. He is at the hospital now to have it checked out. I hope he's OK mate. Quote
bud Posted April 24 Posted April 24 (edited) Thanks @Hairsy @billysugger he spent 10 hours yesterday in a&e. Had a scan on his foot and shoulder. Nothing broken. Just soft tissue damage. He is in a lot of pain though. What really sucks is he was supposed to go on holiday with his mates yesterday. He was so looking forward to it. Back to the boots topic. One of his leather boots had a really deep slice into it. Not quite sure what caused it. But you can imagine the damage to his foot if he was wearing trainers. He was less than half a mile from home when it happened. And only visiting the local shop. So it goes to show. Always wear gear. Edited April 24 by bud 3 Quote
Yorky Posted April 24 Posted April 24 As I remember Mike Hailwood died going to his local chippy , these things can happen anywhere so your teaching him AGAT has proven correct. Bummer about the holiday but as long as he is on the up it's a winner. 2 1 Quote

If they have given him codeine as pain relief did he get prescribed a laxative as a side? Most opiate based pain relief has a particular side effect. 1 Quote

Aw mate, I wouldn't have sidetracked the thread if I'd seen this. Followed my lad on his 125 once and I swear it was the most frightening experience of my life - and I've been chased by a mad Colombian with a machete. Glad he's doing OK. 2 1 Quote
