Hi Rob and welcome to the forum
  4. Fitted a front and rear camera system yesterday Took it for a "test ride" today as you do I can't post the video The quality isn't too bad but might need a bit of tweaking on the exposure settings
  5. Just been out to measure it for you its 3 inch in length about 7.5cm
  6. I have one of these along with various other gauges and they all read the same so I recon they are all accurate https://www.halfords.com/pressure_gauge
  7. I use a set of mercury custom plugs and like them Not tried Eggz but a lot of people rate them
  8. A lot of insurance companies now allow some modifications without having to declare them These companies usually supply a list in their policy documents
  9. It's all downhill from here
  10. In situations like this the best thing to do is to re trace your steps and check your work

    Happy Birthday

Thanks all. Started the day off with a breakfast run on the bike with a mate
  12. Well if you are going to be doing any sort of touring you need a new bike Also if you are off to the seaside you need a new bike and if you are going for rides you need a new bike

    Ive had my orders

I can highly recommend Halfords Pro tools Mine have been used and abused over the 15+ years of owning some of them and only ever had one hex bit break! and that was because I had it on a breaker bar with a scaffold bar on the end of it! It was replaced with no arguments As has been mentioned JIS screwdrivers are a must if you are having a Jap bike as Philips screwdrivers don't sit in the screws and will just chew them up
  14. MOT passed today with flying colours
  15. I think its a bit excessive for just reparing that! As you say its a known problem and soldering it back on will solve it two blobs and its fixed
  16. There is a simple answer to this! If they are factory fitted you will not be able to buy the switch seperately! If they are aftermarket you still won't be able to buy the switch seperately!

  20. First rule of thumb is decent gear https://themotorbikeforum.co.uk/topic/48826-for-sale-arai-profile-v/#comment-608094 Next just take it steady! Do everything smoothly Check the manual for recommended pressures with a pillion As for suspension that's a personal choice! Personally I wouldn't touch it to begin with and see how the bike is
