    Happy Birthday

Thanks all. Started the day off with a breakfast run on the bike with a mate
  3. Well if you are going to be doing any sort of touring you need a new bike Also if you are off to the seaside you need a new bike and if you are going for rides you need a new bike

    Ive had my orders

I can highly recommend Halfords Pro tools Mine have been used and abused over the 15+ years of owning some of them and only ever had one hex bit break! and that was because I had it on a breaker bar with a scaffold bar on the end of it! It was replaced with no arguments As has been mentioned JIS screwdrivers are a must if you are having a Jap bike as Philips screwdrivers don't sit in the screws and will just chew them up
  5. MOT passed today with flying colours
  6. I think its a bit excessive for just reparing that! As you say its a known problem and soldering it back on will solve it two blobs and its fixed
  7. There is a simple answer to this! If they are factory fitted you will not be able to buy the switch seperately! If they are aftermarket you still won't be able to buy the switch seperately!

  11. First rule of thumb is decent gear https://themotorbikeforum.co.uk/topic/48826-for-sale-arai-profile-v/#comment-608094 Next just take it steady! Do everything smoothly Check the manual for recommended pressures with a pillion As for suspension that's a personal choice! Personally I wouldn't touch it to begin with and see how the bike is
  12. Replaced the battery! The original one was showing signs of power loss! A few times I have hit the starter and the dash has gone blank and reset so replaced it just to be safe
  13. My mate has just got the ventilator and rates it highly

    Quick Hello

Hi and welcome to the forum
  19. The dash warning light will keep coming back on Although I think just disconnecting the cables and leaving the motor there may work! You just don't want to be paying twice to have the code cleared if it doesn't work
  20. Is this on the BMW? if so its a common issue I would forget about trying to free it up and get it working as it will only go again and it will just piss you off trying to sort it! Instead buy an exhaust servo eliminator from healtech and fit that then get the code cleared it was the best £40 well spent on mine https://www.healtech-electronics.com/products/ese/
