  1. My crashes have been too fast in to a corner for my ability and stuck it in the ditch Riding rather fast in a group and too closely and the lead rider dumped his mid corner which split his engine casing dumping oil on a left hand bend which took us all off last but not least got a huge tank slapper over a brow which dumped me
  2. I suppose one of the other questions which I haven't seen posted is what is your budget?
  3. I have only ever crashed a bike once But crashed 3 bikes in total
  4. That's a good point well presented
  5. They are Honestly it really is the best bike I have ever owned They look lardy but in actual fact its 20cm wider than my FJR at the mirrors and is only about 20kg heavier but its actually easier and lighter to to ride than the FJR it handles so much better too although it doesn't have the power of the FJR that thing was a missile in comparison
  6. Fixing my mates bike this weekend! He fitted new pads now they are stuck on!

Hi and welcome to the forum
  9. Hmmm tough one! If you want a new bike every 3-4 years then do another PCP deal if you would rather spend a bit less and own the bike at the end of it then second hand on HP or bank loan
  10. Hi and welcome to the forum
  11. My mate has just bought one! low mileage barn find for a steal! There was one on Ebay for 6k
  12. The racing crowd has been on a decline for many years like everything really! Even going to watch club racing is expensive now! £22 a ticket I think it was the last time I checked and Oliver's mount was £50 for the weekend the BSB tickets are cheaper than that
  13. I hope it starts a battle of the 400's like its did in the late 80's and the 90's If they take off then I expect to see a lot of them flying around tracks and some good racing being had
  14. bet you wish you had that bike now! They are selling for a tidy sum
  15. Hi and welcome to the forum What it the reason you are buying the sliders? is it just in case you drop it? if so just go for some frame protectors and don't bother with the rest Reason being is that the rest don't really do a lot in a drop/crash
  16. I wonder if this will give everyone else a kick up the rear to start building these little pocket rockets again! Could probably see a few decent race bikes out of them too
  17. Personally I would rather go with the rebuild purely because of the questionable quality that comes from China
  18. Hi and welcome to the forum There never was a category allowing you to ride a 125 with L plates forever To ride a 125 on L's you need to do a CBT and its actually ridden on your provisional To not have to do the CBT you would have to do some form of test to give you the full licence
  19. Went for a ride today roads was full of crap! gave it a wash and put it away again till it gets better The new brake and clutch levers are great! I now have so much more control on the clutch now I can adjust it to my needs
  20. It was me Thought it might be good for entertainment
  21. Stu

    New to everything!

Hi and welcome to the forum At the age of 25 you can go straight for the A category allowing you to ride any bike and its pretty much the same test
  22. Ideally your bike in the pick but some you can't get to on bike so your sign and number is enough for us
  23. How so? There is nothing to win its just for fun and to get out and about and ride the bike so the only thing people would be cheating is themselves Should maybe start charging £5 entry and make it a competition and the winner takes all
