    NT1100?

This is true There is plenty of places out there now able to refurb or even replace with an aftermarket unit for a lot less and have better results too Changing the suspension on the fly is a novelty I would want on any bike I have now

    NT1100?

Fortunately technology moves on as does peoples knowledge and ability to make, rebuild and replicate this "expensive" suspension Which results in companies out there able to now fully refurbish or replace these units at a very reasonable cost A rebuild for the suspension on mine is no more than a rebuild on a none ESA unit and a replacement doesn't cost much more than an aftermarket unit without ESA
  3. I bloody hope so

    NT1100?

Its one of the main thins I look at as I have a wife that packs everything!! The largest luggage I found was always on a BMW or the triumph trophy but they stopped making that! The GS was a no go as the wife struggled to get on it so it made it a toss up between the RT or the K1600 the RT one as it was a better bike for the type of riding I do Personally I think most panniers are made for one person

  7. @Grumpy Old Git is this you volunteering to organise something? I was going to look to see if I could organise something but I have just been too busy with work at the min! a change in occupation resulted in lots of training courses etc My plan was to try and just find a place with camping and a B&B and just have some sort of meet up to get things going again and hopefully allow @rennie & @Susieque to enjoy themselves too instead of all the stress of the music etc! they are getting old now you know
  8. If I was ordering online it would have been but helmets are always bought in person

  14. I'm in Must get more this year
  15. @Throttled apparently the Versys has more than enough power 24 amps & 14 volts @ 5000 rpm. 24 x 14 = 336 Watts Watts / Volts = Amps Amps x Volts = Watts Taken from here https://www.kawasakiversys.com/threads/alternator-output.1482/
  16. Unfortunately it's not as easy as that! It's not about the volts it's actually all about the amps that the charging system kicks out You can have the right voltage but not the amperage to keep the battery charged Heated grips sat navs and USB chargers are the most common fitted items and I would be shocked I anything larger than a 125 struggled with these fitted There is scooters running around with these fitted with no issues
  17. Wrong time of the year for me otherwise I would have met you up at seaways for a brew
  18. Wear ear plugs is the simple answer here And IMO everyone should be wearing ear plugs as long term damage to your hearing will happen and listening to the sea or ringing all the time is no fun!
  19. You need to reply like I did
  20. It's not whether the battery can take it but more if the charging system can cope The sat nav and phone will take next to nothing but the grips would be the higher drain Your bike should more than cope with that
  21. Debate started in our house today! I was told no ast they belong on a Sunday roast But its Sunday and we have just roasted a turkey
