  1. Hi and welcome to the forum What you looking at buying?
  2. That would have been embarrassing at the dealer
  3. Saved it without dramas well done
  4. Thats normal and what my RT shows on the dash while running then with all the heated shit on it might drop to 14.2v which is plenty Sounds like it could be a duff battery as the charging system looks to be working fine When I turn mine on it saps a lot of power while everything starts up and yours will be the same so I would stick the ignition on and wait a few seconds for the system voltage to stabilise then hit the starter
  5. No the alarm system has a back up battery inside it these fail and can produce the same fault
  6. Hi and welcome I think this is caused by a flat battery in the alarm system (dwa)

    Hello Everyone!

Hi and welcome to the forum
  8. Beggars can't be choosers I suppose.......
  9. I wouldn't worry If we do have one it usually entails turning up Friday and getting pissed all weekend We do a rideout on the Saturday but there is no pressure to go out its mainly all about the social aspect rather than riding around
  10. The trouble is actually finding something that will meet all the needs! its so hard to find a place that has B&B's camping and a pub too!
  11. Also replaced this seal on one of the head covers This is a seal where the bold goes through and on the other side is plenty of oil waiting to piss out! I don't know how it was actually sealing to be honest
  12. New spark plugs and air filter fitted all the fairing put back on fog lights fitted Fault codes read and cleared as I had the ignition on with some things not connected only to find one of the codes wouldn't clear! it was reporting it in German which I didn't realise at first and the German language made it sound really serious! It was in the body control module on the LIN line which is part of the CANBUS system So fairings back off again The I noticed my fog lights wasn't working! plugged the wiring in properly and the fault code cleared and the lights worked Runs a dream and a little smoother
  13. Trying to look at venues for a rally if you would be willing to come along what sort of accommodation would you prefer?
  14. Replace them with a small compressor if you have the space as the C02 cartridges aren't that great! it takes around 4 to get around 25-30 psi in the rear but once they are gone they are gone and no help wit a slow puncture at least with a compressor you can get the correct pressure and keep topping up if need be
  15. Been debating whether to get one for mine or not! I have the odd chip in the paint and I can see in time I will have to do something about it
  16. I think I need to ban the wife from coming out on the bike............
  17. Try searching ebay for a replacement you can usually find some bargains on there
  18. Had this in my head for months now! and randomly sing it out loud and the wife keeps looking at me funny
  19. We had the same issue at the miners with the function room! people just wouldn't leave I think miners is under new management A function room is not essential as just a meet up and a drink in a pub would be good enough for me! I spent 3 hours looking last night and was getting nothing
  20. No that was miners
  21. We have used this place before which wasn't too bad https://www.google.com/maps/place/Halfway+House+Inn,+Bridgnorth/@52.5164184,-2.4341822,15.44z/data=!4m8!3m7!1s0x48707d2e51a37941:0x7abafa7c59d1bca2!5m2!4m1!1i2!8m2!3d52.5145135!4d-2.4308109
  22. Yes that the ideal location
  23. And unfortunately I don't have a lot of time at the moment! I would like to get something organised but it's extremely hard to find a place that's suitable and doesn't want to charge the earth! I am open to suggestions and @Grumpy Old Git has already made a few and the miners standard is OK but we have had issues before!
  24. These don't need a re flash to make them run right as the ecu will take care of it after a couple of tank fulls and sort the air to fuel ratio out as to what it's set at the factory. But having said that they can bbe remapped via the ecu and the ignition tweaked to make them run a whole lot better and again changing exhausts won't matter as the ecu will adjust to it
