    annoying chain !

if your chain is loosing its tension your not lubing it enough a chain stretches as it wears it wears because of lack of lube i have had my chain on for 5000 miles and its been adjusted once and that was in the first 1000 miles which is the bed in period look after it before it snaps and takes your leg off

    brake light problem

as fred says it sounds like a bad earth somewhere
  16. is it at a certain rev range? the mixture could be out the needle in the carb might need altering it could be operator error if you planning on doing full test i would learn to live with it and save your money if its not too bad
  17. The seal won't have sealed properly the pins will need adjusting They work brilliant but getting them to fit right can be a pain
  18. bloody hell ash not good hope all gets sorted out for ya
  19. also what group you going to be riding in matters too your probably best off sorting it on the day if you can or tell him where the place is and meet you there
  20. i have one of these http://www.bombayharbor.com/productImage/0814363001144476613/Air_Compressor_1hp_To_60hp.jpg if you have to use a foot pump or small compressor always put too much air in its less fiddly to let air out to get the correct pressure and you only have to put the pressure guage back on to check
  21. Another tip when bleeding is once you think you are just about done run the res low but not too low don't get air in again remove the caliper's and push the piston's back in this will move any air stuck in the caliper
  22. Get some sintered pads and braided hoses You could have cheap pads in there which can make the brakes feel spongey You could also have air trapped in the caliper some can be a twat to get out Don't listen to anyone saying the the brake lever back over night to make the air come out it doesn't work its a sealed unit once lever is pulled nothing can get out although it can help air rise

    refurb exhaust

you can try it depends how heat resistant it is really
  24. it is that straight forward though the only draw back is the tightness of space in some places
  25. ive been working on both for years and must say bikes are more simpler then cars get stuck in and save your money if you have no idea then its a good way to learn or get others to help you and buy a haynes manual too and study that about your bike also look on the internet look for anything to do with your bike model it will give you some idea how it works and common problems and the symptoms too so gives you a head start if you do have problems in the future
