  11. Stu

    Bike wont start

Could be a knackered regulator/rectifier. i dont think it would stop it starting it would just stop it charging sounds electrical to me pull your plugs check the gap check the connection on the HT leads check all earth straps check all positive connections too especially the starter motor and the starter relay
  12. it would be no good freezing that as freezing contracts metal the ally will contract before the steel which will grip it more heat will expand the metal and again ally will heat up quicker expanding and making the hole bigger ideally you heat the outer and freeze the inner it works great when putting bearings in
  13. penetrating oil and lots of heat will see it free oh and patience too dont get too carried away with a hammer personally though if its not threaded i would just drill it out start small work up and it will soon be out
  14. I have the same problem with gloves they fit great in the shop but when out on the bike is when all the problems start I have a pair of clover gloves not many places stock them I've never had a problem with them even from new I also had a pair of HG pro sports a few years back which again was great but 3 crashes later I had to ditch them! 23. cheers mate downloaded and having a look now
  24. when you apply the front brake it loads the front making it heavier and harder to turn which requiers more pressure its you that sits the bike up when you apply the brake as you let the pressure off the bars you need to apply more pressure not that you should be braking on the front when cranked over really but it can be done safely if practiced
