Stu have a look here supposed to be a good site for tom tom updates
TC thanks for the link but its already in my favs
they do a great bit of software so you can plan routes using google maps works ace
Speaking as an owner of one... be warned, they tend not to charge successfully on bike.I use a cigarette lighter socket (i use universal 12v plugs same as the bikes optmate plug) so I can plug it in and charge it on the run if I have to.
Great bit of kit though m8. especially fun when you use it to get lost!!!! Pin in the map sort of thing...
yeah i have heard some bad things about the charging system before im sure i can fettle with it
i like the pin in the map game

If you type 'Motocomm' into Youtube there's a load of videos from people using these cameras. Albeit older models, the sound quality doesn't sound too good though....
sound quality never is great from even the best of these
also dont forget they have to be edited and done at a low quality for youtube

dont bother with the WD40
it will chase what oil is in there out and dry out quicker
just drop some old engine oil in it will be fine
-

it needs some stuff doing
like
adjust valve clearances but when you do that you have to balance throttle bodies and before you do that you have to set throttle position sensor then it needs seting up on a dyno, also needs new oil in steering damper (or new one)
i want a new rear shock and new fork springs and all new wheel bearings
not done any track days on it YET

well time to get the bike ready for the summer
first job swap my EU headlight for the UK one i won on ebay 5 min job
next on the list
adjust valve clearances, set throttle position sensor, balance throttle bodies, get it set up on a dyno, check steering head bearings, new oil in steering damper (or new one) save for new rear shock and fit that, then save for new for springs and fit them and hopefully re valve forks but that could run into the summer, all new wheel bearings plus a few extra little things along the way
started off like this
currently like this for now
will post more pics as time goes on
-
a good old can of pop is what i have when i go
they cant tamper with it then
-
check tyre pressure if it feels heavy
glad your sorted
-
alarm could have gone into sleep mode to save battery
battery could be too flat to power the bike
yes it might spark but doesnt mean you have enough power
have you got a set of jump leads ? connect it to your car and try it but DO NOT START THE CAR this will rule out the battery
