  5. Ah! I thought you went from under the car! I did one on my mates astra and found it pretty easy except for actually making the bulb clip in the holder on the headlight

  10. Given the angle they was parked at and you was coming around a bend they wouldn't have seen you in their mirrors full stop All they would have seen is the whit car parked behind them All traffic would have been totally out of view If they had pulled off and carried on straight there probably wouldn't have been an issue
  11. I have always done everything online there and then with no issues The wifes mate has just bought a car and did the tax before the insurance without issues
  12. I am pretty sure that it has changed and the system allows you to tax it without insurance but not without MOT
  13. If you are intending on buying a bike and riding it home you must tax and insure it there and then and it must have a valid MOT You can tax it online with the new keepers slip Insurance can also be done online or via phone there and then and once sorted you are good to go One thing I would say is ensure you have everything confirmed via email as it wont be showing on the systems and you could get tugged by plod
  14. Heated grips on the FJR where oxford ones and it took a few mins to warm up People report they get red hot! not in my case 100% was warm but never hot On the BMW they have 5 settings and don't take long to warm up on setting 3 they are too hot

  17. One thing I have noticed though is BMW riders now nod or wave at me
  18. It doesn't just apply the GS riders! The same thing has happened to me! I get ignored by a lot of people now and find it highly amusing! Me and my mate take the piss and physically wave at people and they look at us stupid Me on the RT and him on his GS get ignored but our other mate on his FJR doesn't

  23. With careful attention you will get many miles out of a chain as you are seeing I know one person that got 20k with one adjustment with a correctly adjusted scottoiler and just general cleaning
  24. Reading that it would be a no go for me then
  25. Is there any real world mileage figures on these yet? It would be interested to know how long they last compared to traditional chains it would also help you decide if its worth the extra expense
