if your planning on doing it from a switched source i would go for headlights as they are at the front of the bike as is the cradle so you will have less wire trailing about or just simply find any live feed when the ignition is on and tap in to that the earth can go anywhere like a bolt to the frame or something personally i wouldnt tap in to the loom as people turn their nose up and resale time i have gone to the battery which makes it easy to remove for other bikes

sounds to me like he has a dedicated bike sat nav and the proper conectors so doesnt need a cig lighter socket!! my tomtom rider lead is conected straight to the battery it is designed for this purpose you could fit a fuse if you like you could also wire it up to the ignition so it only live with the ignition on the choice is yours

could be a blocked breather on the petrol tank causing a vacuum and stopping fuel going through or if the fuel tap works off a vacuum it could have a split in it and not opening the tap properly

build up of brake dust or brake pads moving against the piston clean calipers and smear some copper slip on the back of pads

how much is the garage going to charge to fit it ? i bet i can under cut them

ive never seen then check noise emmisions at cadwell but take your baffle just incase

you have to counter steer otherwise you wont go round corners!! everyone does it without realising

you may have to remove center stand attach spring and pull stand in to line

they have been around for years! not sure if they are anygood though i have heard stories of them not changing quick enough!! -
if the sprockets have been altered by 1 or 2 and the drive is off the front sprocket it sounds about right to me!

no speedo from stock will be spot on with a sat nav usually about 10% slower then sat nav

what are you checking it with ? has it got standard size sprockets? check these before spending money

i would go with the HT leads and water ingress

good luck with you DAS where abouts in north yorkshire are you ? theres a few members in the yorkshire area be good to know so you can hook up for ride outs etc

i take a wide berth keep speed low and have been known to cut the engine as mines a tad loud been a V twin with open race pipes!!

the virtigo's fit better then the vertebra's i know someone who has a pair of almost new vertabra's for sale not sure on size possibly 7 or an 8!!
