  1. fully charge your battery as you will need it chances are its crap fuel in the lines if its been stood turn the bike over and keep the button pressed for quite some time while messing with the choke on and off some bikes hate crap fuel and the only way to start it is the way above do not open the throttle as it will just weaken the mixture and not fire you will get good fuel through eventually it will run crap when it does fire up but just keep it running till it warms up properly if after doing the above and it still doesnt start you will probably have to remove the plugs and give them a good clean up before proding further in to it also is your bike fuel injected or carbs ? if its carbs it could be a different story
  2. sorry not for me this sort of stuff i dont want to be blamed for someone making a balls up

if you put the ignition on and just wobble wires and watch for the lights coming on and off thats the easiest way to check ps if it helps i have this problem on mine at the minute too but i know what wires it is
  4. silver mate
  5. does the bike turn over and just not fire ? or do you just get a clicking sound when you hit the starter ?

sounds like you have a loose connection usually the multi plugs behind the clocks and in the side of fairings are the culprit
  7. sounds like you had fun and a top job done on another note though keeping the leavers pressed doesnt let the air out once you pull that brake lever its a sealed unit so no air can escape all it does is compress the air it is a myth that the air comes out or goes to the top also it can distort the seals keeping the pressure on if you think their is air in there get an easy bleed nipple and remove the calipers while pumping fluid through move the calipers about to free any trapped air and tap the calipers and lines lightly also get the caliper as high as possible
  8. nice bargain their rennie
  9. i would try and get a mount for your tomtom you will need wires or be spending on extra batteries anyway you have to get OE batteries otherwise they dont last as long then you need the phone and software and GPS receiver might work out cheaper just to get the mount http://www.ram-mount-uk.com/bike-mount82.htm but it depends what version of tomtom one you have aswell
  10. which tomtom is it ? you might be able to get a mount
  11. the battery on the phone will last about 3 hours max when usiing the sat nav i bought a spare battery and on a run to matlock and back i used both if you want it on a mobile i would go for the nokia N96 with tomtom installed using a ram mount so you can see it plus wire a charger on to the bike
  12. the nokia's usually come with a headphone adaptor the N95 uses a normal 3.5mm jack plug if your going to get one with sat nav you need the most up to date phone with lots of free ram not memory you need ram bit like your pc ram for working programs fast memory for storing the N96 has more then enough ram at 128mb where as the N95 is a bit limited at 21mb which makes the sat nav run slow at times easily miss a turn you will also need a charger for your phone as when using sat nav it eats the battery also dont get a phone with sat nav already as it costs you for the software when you can get it for free if you look around or pm me you are best off with a separate GPS receiver too and not using the built in one especially if you are thinking of putting it in your pocket also try ram mount for a suitable mount for the phone like the aqua box http://www.ram-mount-uk.com/images/products/ramb101aq3iu1.jpg
  13. a damn good service on the calipers if the pads are wearing un even also check the steering head bearings ps moved to pitstop
