Just watched a youtube vid there and when the guy removes the tank there is also no small hose. As i said mate, dont remember taking it off, there is nothing in the haynes of it ( only drain, breather and main fuel). And bike was running fine before. Feel like im gonna explode

So heres the situation, went down today, checked everything i done and all was fine. Looked at the fuel tap and there is the main hose for fuel and the small 1 next to it. Now heres the problem. I done seem to have any hose for the smaller vaccum next to the main hose and also dont remember taking any hose of the tap apart from the main 1. Breather hose and drain both on correctly with no kinks aswell. Battery flat again with trying to start it

1.8 16v W reg Vectra ls. Getting rid of it in april though for a smaller car.

No mate just a standard 1. Im hoping its just a kink or a trapped fuel hose. Dont think the geezer i got the bike off had ever changed the air filter. It was totally black And the oil was like tar ffs.

Probably another daft queation here but what way does the elemet in the air filter face. Should the raised side face up or down at the carbs? Pretty sure ive got it facing up and of this is wrong would this cause any running problems?

As far as i could see all hoses were re-attatched mate. Need to give it a check again tomorrow

As the title says. Just changed the oil filter, oil and air filter on my cbr600f2 (1992) Started her up. Ran for about 1 minute then cut out and now wont start. Fuel was switched on so not that. Any ideas?

Ive got a wee question about oil. Im just about to service my bike and got ail the filters and plugs. Thing is. Ive got 1 litre or 10w 40 and about 3/4 of a litre of valvoline 10w 40. Can i just buy another 2 litres of castrol and mix or is it better to stick to the 1 kind. Probably a silly question but dont want to use 3 litre of castrol and the valvoline to make up to the 3.5 litres the book recommends if its gonna cause me any problems

Think ive watched nearly all of his vlogs. Guy has me in stitches sometimes with his commentaries. Saw him ride the track at catalunya and he is lethal

Or you could do the cheap option and take the visor off, rub some shaving foam on the inside, leave it for 5 mins then buff it off to a shine, put the visor back on and away ye go. Wont last forever so will need to re-do it every now and then

Just back in from doing Chaterherault Hunting Lodge and Bothwell Castle. Had to go in to the visitor centre at Chaterherault to make sure the big building was the hunting lodge as it doesnt say it on it. It was cold, wet and very windy on the motorway but its good to get started.

I use a "Team 66" cover from Hein Gericke. Cost me £20 but been well worth it. I bought the medium sized one and it fully covers my CBR with plenty of space left inside it.

I just shake some of the rain off it then throw it in the boot of the car

Cant wait to get started on this. Gonna get a few under the belt early. Bothwell Castle is 1st for me since its only about 20 mins away
