  1. The most difficult test is yet to come..... It's keeping your wallet in your pocket whenever you go to a bike shop.
  2. Fair enough matey, just being cautious. On the flip side, you'd have to pay someone then trust them to do as you're asking. Also, depending on exact locations, as already mentioned, Sudbury to Basildon isn't a mega distance. Is it not something you could do? I'm only 1/2 hour from Sudbury, but to do what you're asking would take at least 3 1/2 hours, not something I could offer to do.
  3. So, whoever collects it has to pay the cash, right? Whoever collects it has to give you their bank details first, so you can pay them before they go to collect it? Not that I'm an untrusting kind of person..........
  4. Good morning bikers
  5. What's a theory test? Can't recommend any apps, but good luck anyhoo
  6. Waheeeeey
  7. Just returned from the vet's, took my dawg for the second part of his Lepto jab. I say to her, can you please check his teeth, he's not catching a ball very well, and he definitely doesn't want the occasional tug of war with a stick that he likes.... Yup, needs a tooth extracted, going to be in the region of £600. I really hope Petplan pull their weight.
  8. That's phenomenal @Mickly. Congratulations to your mate. (the jammy bugger). I just won a fiver on the lottery, not quite the same though.
  9. That's a good shout. Assuming it's g to keep them safe.
  10. Superb looking bike @Bianco2564 Love that Suzuki white and blue.
  11. Good morning bikers
  12. A real pity, especially considering the great roads in the Cotswolds. Although, not all the surfacing is great.
  13. @bonio Poor humour aside, have you manage to get the DRZ running?
  14. I had a Shite Great ride today......... I made an impromptu decision to pop out for a couple of hours, although it was very windy, and rain was looming but hadn't fallen yet, I thought "sod it, why not". Then I found out why not, the darned roads were sooooooo busy, (=shite), the first 30 minutes of my circuit were mostly sat behind long lines of cars and eventually filtering past when safe. So I decided just to keep calm, enjoy the moment and head back home, turned from Bulmer onto the country lanes (which = Great), there were hardly any cars, and they were easy to pass because they were few and far between, and I happened to have a thundering V-twin between my legs. This carried on all the way home, so just for a change I just made use of the incredible back roads in my area that I always hear other bikers riding around. I did 47 miles, although the furthest point I went to was Halstead, which is only 12 miles away. I was out for just 1 hour and 20 minutes, but the last 45 minutes were great fun, and I returned with a grin, feeling like I had an amazing day.
  15. Hi @wilgartw try searching for a horse riding intercom. Also, consider that a behind the ear system will be uncomfortable with a crash helmet.
  16. Good morning bikers
  17. Maybe the bike's seen you wearing Derri boots, what with you being retired now
  18. Hi @yogi It really depends on mileage etc.. If you're not doing many miles, then changing the oil and filter once per year is a great start. Then there's winter storage to consider, but with a fuel injected bike, that can sometimes just be filling the tank to the top with super unleaded. Have a look at at this, see if helps
  19. Good morning bikers
  20. Welcome to the forum @Turrican80
  21. What's that then? Looks larger than usual
  22. Enjoy your bimble GOG.... Is that Elton John?
  23. Happy birthday, have a great day.
