  1. This has some useful tips, but like anything on YT, use the information wisely, and to your advantage, don't take it as "gospel". https://www.ridespain.co.uk/touringtips
  2. I posted something as similar asking about soft luggage.... Lomo seem to be very good
  3. Welcome to the forum. Take pictures, and lots of them as you disassemble everything, then you'll have a record of how it goes back together. Give that fuel tank a good clean out. Maybe replace HT leads and the like. Inspect any flexible hoses and tubes in case they're perished. Fork oil may be in need of replacement. Despite low mileage, it's still a fair age, and perishables will need to be looked at. Have fun.
  4. That does seem to be good value for the spec.
  5. How was the pillion holding on? The whole thing depends on the right combination of rider, the bike, and how the pillion is holding on. One hand on the rail behind, and the other on a knee works nicely. Both hands on the riders hips also works, but depends on seat height difference. Both hands on the grab rail either side will seem like a good idea, but offers no help during acceleration and braking, and will cause core and upper back discomfort.
  6. He is, as many eejits seem to be, self entitled to have the world exactly as he desires. AKA. A self entitled prick.
  7. Darn, that's harsh. Welcome to the forum though @Daisy
  8. Top bloke @Trooper74 seriously good of you to look out for that lad. It'll give him faith in biking, when he really needs it.
  9. Oh FFS! Can't believe I didn't realise that. Nice looking bike as it happens. Thanks
  10. A what? Tinternet search is as clueless as I am.
  11. If the past is where you're happy, then be happy. Our past is what makes us, and what governs our decisions for the future. The past and future are not entirely separate.
  12. I used to crash them.... Still have a couple on the shed with all the gear, and a Hirobo Sceadu 50, which I just can't part with.
  13. I think you might be on to something there. Maybe he should converse with the trail riders, probably only two of them, a couple of times per year...
  14. I shall tuck that under my arm as new knowledge, cheers.
