  1. Respect.... And glad you had what looks like a great day.
  2. Yes, they seemed bomb proof, probably why the were the despatch riders choice, in the days when cities were full of despatch riders showing off their skills. Followed by the Kawasaki GT550 (I had one that did run).
  3. Seeing a thread about a CX500 frame reminded me.... 35 years ago, I swapped a fish tank for a non-running CX500, but I never had the time to get it roadworthy. I had a DT125 so wasn't desperate to get it going. A "friend" of my neighbour offered to take it of my hands, and I my girlfriend's mum was glad to see it gone. Two weeks later, bang bang bang on the front door at 03:00, coppers wanting to arrest bleary eyed little me for some robbery or something, they reckoned they'd chased me up the Uxbridge road on that CX500
  4. Thanks @Geordie OldieI'll have a look at Readly. Thing is with magazines, they offer too many opportunities to spend money.
  5. Maybe there's nowhere for them to plug in their tool.....
  6. That's excellent, are you a life coach? If not, you should be...
  7. A great idea, and very generous. Probably half the price of B&B, and you don't have to lug it all about.
  8. Going to be nice tomorrow, have a good time
  9. You need to fit a rack to the moped. Maybe Yadea supply one?
  10. Looks like it missed us, thank goodness
  11. What about a tractor driver? I could do with a change
  12. Wow, fantastic read, really rather jealous.
  13. Why not keep the Forza, and get a smaller bike as a "run about"?
  14. Lucky sod, just think of all that beer consumption....
  15. If this lot comes via Haverhill, my dog's going to have my up all night. https://www.lightningmaps.org/?lang=en#m=oss;r=0;t=2;s=0;o=0;b=;n=1;y=50.8545;x=4.4495;z=6;d=2;dl=2;dc=0;i=0;ts=0;
  16. I think it's worth taking a tiny hit on the horsepower to have the baffles in, to have smooth delivery. I had a ZX6r, Superb bike, until the front of a minicab rearranged it
  17. He changed the plugs, cut back the ends of the HT leads, put the carb's in a sonic cleaner and balanced them. This gave a significant increase in acceleration. I've never liked the sound of my Beowolf exhausts, unless I'm above 6000 RPM, it was like riding through a tunnel, so I've been trying to find a nice pair of original pipes. However, I noticed on the Beowolf website that they sell road legal "quiet" baffles, so I ordered a pair delivered for £60. Much, much nicer sound, but still sound impressive. Meanwhile, I've been running Seafoam fuel cleaner through the system, and either the fuel cleaner, or the baffles seem to have cured the low range spluttering. I need a couple more rides (including switching back to the noisy baffles) to be sure.
  18. Hi @superlight125, and welcome to the forum
  19. That's great, many thanks @Shepherd
