  1. I don't care how unreliable HD's are supposed to be, that right there, is absolutely freaking gorgeous....
  2. Shouldn't you then be sharing with the friends partner's friend? It's only one weekend, it'll be O-KY on the night (someone had to)
  3. I've just spent an hour drooling over Hi-Fi that I can't afford, and wouldn't really get to listen to, and I'm blaming you
  4. Oh man, if I wasn't taking my bike to the menders, I would have bought a jacket and trouser suit.
  5. Toothpaste works well as a compound
  6. That's a great idea. Just a grub screw would be perfect.
  7. Even pre-loved that's almost what I paid for my bike.... I'm not ignorant enough to dismiss the incredible quality of build and components involved in the manufacturers and listeners quest for audio perfection. I too would love such a system. The best chance I have of listening to reasonable audio is using some fairly good (to me) headphones, I was almost tearful when I got my headphones and the first thing I put through them was War of the Worlds......
  8. For all it's goodness, that's so ugly, as per the graffiti on the wall in the first picture. I really do like the riding position though, and it's well spec'd with kit, especially for the price. Despite the other available machines on the market, It's a good lead to be followed. Yeah, I'd buy one......
  9. You've got the membrane (don't know what it's really called) under the lid of the MC? Just can't think where the heck is that pressure disappearing off to????
  10. Great to see a worthwhile bargain.
  11. Welcome back to motorcycling @bjr55 You've been a lot more practical and sensible than me, jumping straight on a 1200 after 24 years. However, it's the fear that keeps us sensible, and a having a good motoring mindset that keeps us from killing ourselves, whether gripping handlebars or a steering wheel. I had a souped up Renault five try to race me at the weekend, I was quite pleased with myself that I just didn't bother and I let him roar off down the road. On a bike that could do 180, the only thing I have to prove is that I'm not that that stupid. With your obvious good attitude, you'd have no problem with a big bike, as it'll only go as fast as you make it. The very best of luck to you.
  12. Good afternoon yerself Rennie
  13. That's got to be so satisfying....
  14. I just cant help feeling that it's the wrong lever. Looking at the second picture where it starts to apply pressure, the lever has already moved the piston in quite some distance, but shouldn't it have only moved the piston a small amount? It's like the angle of the lever isn't quite right. Or, the wrong MC.
  15. Good, early evening
  16. This really would help the older generation move forward to electric. Much like when I bought a battery chainsaw, I love the revving of the 2 stroke engine whilst the chain rips through the wood, but there's something nice about picking up the battery powered saw and just making the cut without any noise, smoke, or fuss.
  17. Absolutely brilliant, he made it look so simple. If wonder if the barasol to increase the viscosity of the drilling fluid was just wallpaper paste....
  18. Looking good, you'll be out on it soon....
  19. But if there weren't any potholes we'd have nothing to swerve around.
