  1. I used it today, only disappointment is not being able to control streaming music, only files on the phone storage. Otherwise, spot on for phone calls, and music quality. I don't understand why the speaker connectors aren't flat like the microphone, did few miles with it embedded in the back of my head before I adjusted it.
  2. You say you haven't changed the lever, but is it possible it's bent? If it's bent or damaged at the pivot point, it won't be noticeable. How far do you have to stretch your fingers to grab it? Can we have a picture..
  3. Welcome to TMBF
  4. So, just fitted my Cardo Packtalk, and I'm very happy with how it went. It was made easy by the helmet having the speaker spaces and grooves for wires, even the microphone was catered for. Cheers all.
  5. Good evening. I'm about to go stroke my Kwaker, give her a wipe down, and try to install a Sat-nav. Will probably only manage the stroking though
  6. Ordered that lot at about 19:00 last night, it was all delivered (thrown over the gate) at 15:30 today. But, arggggghhhhhh the darned panniers are rack specific, so, I'll have to exchange them. So few panniers to choose from, they're nearly all adventure style.
  7. Welcome, and congratulations. That's one heck of a commute for a new rider, It'll stand you in good stead for the pleasure rides, it'll mean they'll be easy and nothing but fun.
  8. Sportsbike shop, doing 20% off a lot of brands, with code LOVE20 ENDS tonight, but doesn't include already discounted items. I saved over a ton though.
  9. Order a Cardo Packtalk Edge, and a Shark Ridill 1.2 (old style) helmet, which gave me almost £50 off the Cardo Order a Garmin Zumo XT2 and used the Valentine's day code of LOVE20 for 20% off, saving over £100 THIS ENDS TONIGHT AT MIDNIGHT Also ordered some Givi hard panniers which were massively reduced (old style) a pair of N35 for £259 Now, I'm far from loaded, so used Klarna over 12 months, cost me £100 in interest, but that's outweighed by what I saved. Happy days
  10. That's awesome @Fozziewell done. Black belt will be yours.
  11. Nooooooooooo Don't make me buy more paint. OK, maybe just a couple of cans Actually, a very good store, cheers.
  12. Whoop whooooooooop. Air in the tyres now, it's stopped raining, sod it, I'm going for a ride anyhoo. Flippin eck, absolutely freakin awesome! I'm so happy to have now ridden the bike I thought I had. The only twitch was me over cooking it on a wet roundabout. I'm so darned happy, I actually thought I'd lost the ability to ride a bike....
  13. You must be proper mates if you can tell him to shut the feck up ...
  14. Yup, that was my point. As a brand, WD40 produce various products for specific uses, but standard WD40 is a water dispersant, hence the name. It's actually the 40th version of the product they were originally trying to produce.
  15. Also, have a look at Machine Mart, they sell great little "garages". I have one for hay storage, and it's stood for a few years through all storms. https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/clarke-cis8612-motorcycle-shelter-shed-/
  16. To add to the above... Avoid using "regular" WD40, it's not a good lubricant, and it's a degreaser/solvent, so won't do rubber seals any good. The WD40 brand does have some good specific products though.
  17. @RideWithStyles & @S-Westerly Many, many thanks, this is what forums are about. Cheers
  18. Could it be the low 26 psi pressure on that picture?
  19. Oh right, I imagine I'll need a pair, as they were both new before I bought it. Thanks for keen eye. Do you think it's from sitting in the corner doing nothing?
