  1. Keeping warm? haha I'm going for my Adidas trainers which are the highest up the ankle shoes I have, skinny jeans, t-shirt and a jacket. Once I actually get my bike/insurance I'll upgrade to boots, gloves etc etc Just a quick tip, get some better jeans, they might not let you do it in "skinny jeans" same with trainer's i know my center wont. They should provide you with helmet, gloves and jacket. Make sure you do upgrade to the full gear even on a 50, i bet alot of people on here have had accidents on 50/125 i know personally my arms would of been f**ked and ankles when i came off at gravel on speed with my full gear on ride safe. Anyways, keep calm don't panic it's not really a test it's just some what training you can't really fail as they will just say come back tomorrow if they feel you need more time.
  2. booked 2 weeks today, 2 days, first training, second is training 3 hours morning then the test...
  3. Noticed sterling superkings now have 19 in a pack by me! sneaky, instead of price rise they take a fag off me now!
  4. find it okay.... pain in the ass when you select no motorways and you have to manually override it to remove the roads.... Apart from that, can't fault it.
  5. Indeed, i'm a common customer there, although i do like to chat alot to the mechanic, as i believe knowledge is power. Will have to sort something out with work, maybe work weekend if possible for a days off if possible, didn't realize you lived so close to them! And thanks boopboop! I'm just terrified spending money to possibly lose it! at least with the lottery it's only a couple quid!
  6. Hey bramble, throw me a pm with your number, and preferably facebook to get in contact.
  7. Hello guys, booking my mod 1 in the coming weeks, live in halifax/Huddersfield though, and the one in hudds only does the training and tests on weekdays, which i work and have no holiday for yet, any one local know any good centers which is kinda cheap? im terrified of failing and wasting all that money....
  8. Lol, like our word really matters, i'm still quite young but for atleast the last 5 years no "big guns" give a f**k what we want/say.
  9. Noticed on the 2005 cbr personally the brackets are a pile of Shit, try take the side farings off for space, that won't help, but once the side is off take the front off and let the headlights rest on something crouch size, it still doesn't give you alot of room around the ignition but everylittle help's, when i couldn't reach certain parts while repairing my cbr i luckily had my younger brother with small arms/hands to give it ago. I would take a closer look at mine to see where abouts the screws are on the ignition to help you work out what body panels you might need to take off to allow more space but i have not got my bike at the moment.
  10. I don't even vote, had this discussion at work through dinner time, problem is it's all mouth to get into "power" once they get in, the bend as many people over and give it to them. Promises mean nothing when they don't back them up, or twist the words.
  11. I'm probably incorrect, but i thought we had to have warnings about speed camera's in the vicinity? locally we just have signs well ahead. Now east Yorkshire filey, they tend to also post where speed radar van's will be located a week prior to them been mobilized to the location.
  12. i think with summer coming up and the amount of idiotic drivers i will grab one of these payday, mad cheap and will help future insurance! thanks for the heads up! <3 will get the £41 one, then i'll have to add costs to ride to you to sort it out! look's like you could start a company fixing our cams
  13. aha, randomly checked other thread, hello scott, yes i'm out now and again, but jon isen't out on his bandit 1200 that much recently, if the weather is nice tomorrow and i get my courtesy bike from insurance in time (3pmish) i will have a little ride out if you wish, get's me used to the bike i'll be borrowing, claimed to do 170 miles a week, so i have plenty of time to spend riding On another note, i might be joining you soon on a sv650 once my first few payslips come through!
  14. Not a massive fan of alot of naked bikes, and circle headlights, but this..... there is something very sexual about the look of this triple...... so this is where motorbike porn begins
  15. will have to do it in a couple of week, no brass for tools yet, but as it's not a massive problem or a problem at all, i will have a go with it one day!
  16. found out my uncles friend mot's and repiars bikes, but only accepts big bikes, and is extremely strict (some-how he manages to attract a shit ton of customers) he checked it, says it's fine, nothing to worry about, just happend's with that kind of mileage, but he spotted some big issues that i need to address, so to another garage as he's plate is full, sigh been a confusing day! would check but haven't got the tools at the moment or the ballz incase i f**k up!
  17. Asmuch as i would like to, i honestly don't have the tools for that or the knowledge, although i did ask about welding it and al said that doesnt seem to be a good idea with the state it's in, is anyone local to brighouse/hudds/halifax? <3 Don't be spending any money on a replacement exhaust until you have got it checked over first, a replacement gasket is pence and a very easy fix. Alrighty, i'll ring around and find out how much people will charge to check Thank youu <3

  19. Could it be just the exhaust gasket? I honestly have no idea personally, the exhaust downpipe is completely corroding though and full of rust.
  20. Exhaust seem's to be blowing where it connect's to the engine, so will need to downpipe i think? Will keep "window" shopping until i get paid, really need my baby for the new job! Edit: local breakers have none just phoned them, one says hes partner who deals with exhaust is back in the afternoon.
  21. Hello guy's as some people know i've had problem's with the bike, and broken it down to the exhaust having a "leak" now as it's my work horse i need to fix it before something bad happend's i get paid in 2 week's time so looking around i can't seem to find stock exhausts, i honestly don't care how it look's or sounds as it's on a 125, garages checked the bike and said the exhaust will cost £150! and that's for a stock one! i can't seem to find a stock honda cbr 125 2005 r5 exhaust, but i've found a few like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-CBR-125 ... 3f35b5bbd1 As i don't know much about exhausts, this is the full kit correct? yes it's aftermarket and looks stupid on a 125 (i agree) but if it's cheaper than a stock one it's worth me getting right? Need some advise either way exhaust buying related.

needs water coolent, sorry been busy week with interviews and job negations. Not sure why i diden't do this, but i put my hand over the exhaust to stop the flow, it doesn't cut out whatsoever, took it to a few garages all say it's exhausted related lost trust in my old garage big time! So need to order a new exhaust! Will keep thread posted.
