Do what everyone says: -1, +2 will make it a proper tool. If your paint is pulling off then it's likely a respray - why not just rip it off and re-do the while lot?

Think you got that the wrong way round Stu - dash said 28, speed trap said 41 means huge sprocket on the front and tiny one on the rear. That would account for the shit acceleration. The PO probably wanted max top end bragging rights. Using a theoretical ratio to attain the claimed figures (which would no way physically fit), the top speed would be 250mph. No wonder you beat it on track as it would be bollocks to ride and would accelerate like a wheezy snail.

+1 Most of the above. I bought a GPZ900 immediately after passing my test. Within half an hour I was trying to max it on the motorway (no speed cameras back in them days). Couldn't spend too long doing it as I had to be back at school for afternoon lessons.

What did you put in TC? I used to stick the Halfords ultra brilliance bulbs in because I got them cheap. The current car is HiD which are superb on full beam but not exactly phenomenal on dipped.

In all fairness, he looked like he'd done a quick shop and the bike bit was nowhere near full. He also failed to rise to the taunting of some grubby oik which amusingly annoyed them.

I can't really see properly but I reckon that rubbery bush should locate in the plastic clip that I think I can see on the top of the mudguard.

Exactly. Just because you want to spend £40k+ on a car. Plus it's an extra £310/year for 5 years. It'll be interesting to see how many manufacturers offer a base spec at £39999 when the new policy comes in.

Looks like it's cars - couldn't find anything on bikes from a quick scan. The whole thing seems like another means-tested afair which seems to be the in thing at the mo.

Might have been on here before but I just saw the brilliant new VED rules. Just seems like yet another way to tax the nob of people who work hard and want decent things. Grumble grumble.

Why fanny about with eBay when acetone if freely available from builder's merchants as UPVC cleaner and Boots/Superdrug etc as nail varnish remover. Alternatively, nail varnish remover can be stolen from your wife/girlfriend/father.
