  1. You have been a touch... bold with the chopping! Can you weld the frame/head bit back in again? You could use some bracing on the seat bit too.
  2. Surely you mean normal sized stuff for sensible sized people. Not this tiddly crap for midgets.
  3. Didn't it involve a bucket load of Redex or something?
  4. And I was the surgeon... Mwah-hahahahaaaaaa! That's probably why they were a bit wonky. Did you ever recover feeling in your nipples? Got to disagree about the mortgage thing Joeman - if you over pay you accumulate a "reserve" so you can temporarily stop paying for x amount of time if things go pear shaped.

    Holding back

Probably over fuelling. If you can grab the carb off it would be with checking the float height valve.
  6. I know a few people like that - not quite on the same scale though! Nobs the lot.
  7. I am interested. You may proceed.
  8. How long ago was that Maws? Think I got £1500 for mine after I got squished by a car. That was 2001 ish.
  9. Wow, tough crowd!
  10. Tight git.
  11. Nice one. Hoggs and I both need green.
  12. I think most people crash on the right and knack the tail on the way down. Like I did. Which is why I still need a tail. Blank panels cost a fortune once you add on a quality paint job and stickers.
  13. What do you get when you divide the circumference of a pig by its diameter?
  14. Good luck with it matey. I only just (after years of looking) found a right hand middle panel for mine in good nick.
  15. ...at wemoto for 1 week only.
  16. Wemoto are pretty good on price. Sportsbikeshop too.
  17. I use both hand and electric bleeding systems. Those bubble could well be coming from the bleed nipple where the air is coming through the threads. This usually happens when the fluid flow is low or there is a restriction in the system. Have you had a look through the system for any additional nipples? Quite a few bikes have additional bleed points - usually at the lever. Some systems are just buggers to do and like to be bled backwards i.e. pushing fluid up through the caliper.
  18. I have a pair of these: Perfect for the fallout of marital disputed and they fold up for easy transportation to provide relief while out and about.
  19. I'm with Biancooooo! A leak at the head flange (snigger) can sound a lot like a tap.
  20. I've got one of these. It's good enough for taking the nip out if a single garage. Cheap as chips too.
  21. Same here - you've got to be mega careful not to scrape the rims with cold or stiff tyres when using levers. I think Stu's "device" is a really good compromise.
  22. MACHINE?!? PAH! What's wrong with spending hours scraping your knuckles and swearing? Yeah, I'd like one.
  23. Sportsbikeshop are really good on returns for fitment. Got to say that trying on in a shop and buying on-line takes the piss a bit. Why not just buy in the shop?
  24. Don't pinlock do a photochromatic insert? If not you can get an A5 sheet for £22 on eBay. Nice idea though.
  25. Pretty much. Most jackets and jeans will have a zip round the back which is a minimum requirement. A full zip if preferably if you can get it. Where are you thinking of going?
