Ideas for seat bag for CBF 125
MR_W replied to Gray's topic in Clothing, Luggage, Accessories and Security
Looks like Velcro strap goes under seat, the 2 straps each side are double d ring straps. You the those to pillion foot holders (front) and ideally luggage hooks for the back pair. Those 4 straps help hold the thing down, but any secure point that won't break on the bike is where you want to strap them too. -

I'll have a look at the instructions in a bit. Think motorcycle news have a luggage fitting video so let me find that for you too. -
If you could have any talent you wanted what would it be?

Wish I had some natural ice hockey ability. I play rec level, but only been playing ice for 5 years and 3 years of roller before that. Never had any natural skating ability and my general hockey is good now but it's only come via hard work. Taken the last year of focusing on slap shots to be finally able to hit them properly. -
Looks good

Not sure if anyone down here has a halfords card... Or if there is a forum member down here! Also wanting a double bubble screen. Any suggestions for where to get from?

Why do women want matching bedlinen? And underwear?
MR_W replied to XmisterIS's topic in General Chat
Beginning to see why she might have buggered off mate!! Lol Tbh cooked for her every day, retrieved 100's of photos off a dead Galaxy S3's internal memory literally days before she left, always took her to hospital for her Diabetes related appointments... I even took her on a husky sled ride in January when in Canada on a delayed honeymoon. Took her up the CN tower the last night we were there as well. Yeah guess I was crap. -
Landmine on base of right boot would solve it....

I think I must be an odd one out.... As I can't stand non matching things or lack of symmetry. She who has buggered off never really wore matching... Drove me nuts, everything looks better with matching or symmetry. Hell I even need the pattern on the pillow cases reflecting down the middle of the bed.... Crap, think I have an OCD.... -
Cheers cat I'll have a look at the halford stuff. Sadly as the wife has left, my spare cash has dropped massively per month, so paddock it will be rather than abba for now

This the sort of thing you are after? http://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcy ... rod/101368 -
Defo need a stand, only a side one on the 'cat. Any in particular you recommend? Biketek seem cheap but I suspect there is a reason why....

Have a spanner set (need to check they are metric), also have a screwdriver set covering everything as part of my work supplies, along with a magnet wand (dropped enough rack bolts in my time in datacenters).

Then they aren't worth riding with Worminator. I'll try pop over at some point if you want. Some decent roads up near Hook if you haven't explored there yet.

Wonder if the Quad accident in the late 90's has taken him in the end. Absolutely gutted, was watching tons of Bottom last week.

As the wife walked out a week ago Sunday, saying she didn't love me any more and want to be with me. As such looks like I am going to have a lot more spare time on my hands.... anyone in Newbury or nearby area fancy meeting up at some point? I came to this area cos my parents had moved here and the missus and as a result, don't really have any of my own mates nearby (and not really anyone on a bike!). I can happily pootle along to Fleet in Hampshire or Soton area. Oxford area isn't difficult either.

I rode with textile jacket, gloves, skid lid, boots and jeans on a 125cc. Would defo recommend textile trousers or kevlar jeans over normal ones from experience and wiser with age! I use Shark helmets, but try on different models under a manufacturer (by that I mean Speed-R vs S900 in Shark, rather than colours), as well as different manufacturers. Glove wise, if you can afford it and are riding all year, get a summer and waterproof pair. Hot days, you will be grateful for the summer ones, wet days, grateful for waterproof. Boots, I would pick Sidi or RST and would never touch Alpinestars again due to the squeeking. I've owned some Sidi's in the past and currently on RST Tracktech Evo Waterproofs, and they are so comfy. If you want a textile jacket with a nice female cut, check out some of the Frank Thomas stuff. Most textiles have a winter liner as well, which is a godsend in January!

Right, I'm going to be looking to maintaining my bike myself a lot more, partly to avoid labour rates, the rest being I like tinkering with things and working in IT, most PC's have very little to tinker with nowadays other than drive replacements. And servers rarely go wrong. Thinking of changing the stock Thundercat screen to a double bubble. Likely a solid black, or a smoked one to tie in with the front of the bike (being black). Even if I stick to a standard screen, probably still going to swap for a smoke or solid black. I ride a fair bit on motorways to reach mates, hence my thought on using a DB screen, had 1 on the FZS600S and there is a noticeable difference for airflow. Any advice on makes, as well as where to buy from? In addition, if I replace the final drive and chain, what should I be looking for. Only had my 125cc done in the past and didn't do it myself, so guidance to brands and what to look for would be appreciated. In addition to a paddock stand (side stands suck at times) and a decent torque wrench (suggestions?), what other tools am I likely to want and for what jobs, as need to plan my purchases a lot more now.

Maybe the fact horses are such twitchy buggers is why the riders don't smile or wave.... Gripping on for dear life! Must say on the a34 near oxford last week, I made sure to say thanks to nearly every car driver who shifted to let me filter through the congestion.

Once you sit on it, you will go for it full blooded again. £2600 is not worth it in my eyes.
