  1. Get one! i bought one and i love it, my bikes currently on it now, i know theyre not cheap but its great working on a bike without scrabbling about on the floor all the time, plus theyre built to last, when my bikes in storage it will be kept on the lift too. They are easy to use and make life so much easier. Must admit i am tempted. Problem is there 10 other things i need for my bike that ican blow £500 quid on.
  2. I'm getting some heated gloves this year. Grips are alright for palms but do naff all for fingers.

    Sky TV

I pay £60 a month for Virgin. I think 40 of that is for the 200MB broad band. For the remaining 20 i have a Tivo V8 box and all channels excluding Sky Sports/Cinema. Dont even watch it. Watch all my stuff on Kodi via the Firestick.
  4. Can always just politely knock on their wing mirror.
  5. Was it second hand? I always ditch the thermal in place of a hoodie anyway. Rode all winter that way and it was fine, albeit in a Dainese Carvemaster, or whatever it's called.
  6. Im sure the guy they are burying doesn't mind.

  8. At least you haven't got kids (my assumption) Go out and get w**kered at least 3 times a week for the next month.
  9. Went for a haircut, took the bike.
  10. I'm trying my hardest not to destroy this thing in the first few weeks However, your words made me see sense i just slapped it on. Cheers!
  11. Opinions please! Bike has a red and blue decal over the tank that my jacket zip is going to destroy over time. I have a clear tank pad in the garage but im abit worried that once i put it on, it will rip the decal off if i ever try to remove it. Anyone had this issue before? http://i.imgur.com/tMYJdip.png

I managed to get an Indian Microsoft scammer to call me **** before.

  14. Go back and get your £80's worth of damage.
  15. It's not the numbers that really concern me (maybe it should/well they do i suppose hence the original post :s) but the Police response to such events. The Force, the Police Federation and the IPCC seemingly closing ranks, colluding, influencing the outcomes of inquests. Suppresion of evidence, bending the truth. Fake leaks to the media etc. Fair do's it's the Federations job to get the best outcome for the Officers but the IPCC is supposed to be independent, howver at best they look incompetent at worst they look bent.
  16. Hit the car so hard that the pillions arse split the trousers and the shoes came off
  17. Are a disproportionate amount of crimes committed by people from a black or minority background? I don't know the answer I'm just asking the question. Because if they are then the number of people dying in custody is proportionate. A quick google suggests that 80%of arrests in 2014 were "self defined white" people. BAME claims that 30% of deaths in police custody were people from Black and Minority backgrounds. More specifically, 8% of people arrested in 2014 were black. BAME claims 10% of those who died in Police custody were black. Very vague, all robbed from Google. Type of crime not covered so not all that relevant as you can fudge statistics to support either or. Mainly though the it probably detracts from the main point about Police collusions and deaths after contact with the Police. Which occurs worryingly regularly.
  18. Mixed views on this. Tough job that I wouldn't do. Brave people doing a terrifying job to protect the public. However, can't remember the exact figures, around 800+ deaths in Police custody since 1990 with not a single officer convicted? A disproportionate amount of those deaths were people from a black or minority background. Then you have Hillsborough, Christopher Adler and Ian Tomlinson to name but a few smear jobs/cover ups attempted by the IPCC and the Police Federation. Incredible really. The old bill do a tough job, but they don't half make it tough for themselves. Not sure the current Police Force is the one i'd want to hand more powers too either.

  20. You should decide solely on whether you want to. Don't let others opinions influence the choice you make. I appreciate your stance is more thinking of others rather than worrying what they think, but still. If you want to do it, then do it. Without doubt the most qualified and will definitely bring more value than anyone else.
  21. Tell him to foxtrot oscar. Plenty of time to be miserable in life. Not nearly enough to be happy.
  22. Haven't done the change yet, but the replacement is here. Pic of the pistons:
  23. Lasted about a year for me. Zips broke and the velcro got a bit shit. Quality boot though. Got about 9000 miles out of em and some of that was through horrendous down pours and snow. I think the only thing that got through was the snow , but that was because i had to push the bike about 2 miles walking through slush.
  24. I concur, pistons are cup shaped with the bottom of the cup innermost. You have only damaged some kind of insert. If you had holed a piston you would have no brakes at all. I understand. Thanks all. I feel like maybe i have wasted £200 on a calliper
  25. There's definitely a hole there, Stu. I'll put the pics up when I replace it. Are you saying I've damaged and outer cover of the piston and not the piston itself? Edit, i understand what you/tim are getting at now. Will pull it back out tomorrow and have another look.
