1. I pee'd in full view of the passing traffic, rather that than use shared toilets
2. Took the bike out for a good rag today. Set off at 8am and headed west from Surrey, down the A29 from Dorking then along the A272 to Winchester then made my way to Salisbury. Rode up to Devizes, saw Stonehenge from a distance then basically reversed the same route home. Not many pictures, the only time I stopped was for petrol, a piss and to eat my sandwiches. I did wash my hands before and after each of these events https://i.imgur.com/V0muuvP.jpg' alt='IMGUR>'> https://i.imgur.com/fg8josQ.jpg' alt='IMGUR>'> https://i.imgur.com/VcJWrq8.jpg' alt='IMGUR>'>
3. I'm lucky, I live an hour from Portsmouth and only 75 minutes from the Tunnel. I like parts of France myself but if I was heading just to Spain and staying there, then I'd probably take the ferry there and back. Saying that, I always fancied taking the ferry to Spain then riding across the Pyrenees east and head upwards towards Perpignan then Millau and upwards from there through France as I did withGerontious in 2017. That'll stay on the post-covid back burner I guess
4. Stops wise what you looking at Calais to maybe Bordeaux area for first stop then on to somewhere mid Spain for the second stop? When I rode to Spain in 2016 with my mate we stopped overnight at Le Mans then a small village near Bordeux. Then half a day to Jaca, crossing the border via Pau. We never touched a motorway on the way there but it rained pretty much all the way which made it a very, very, miserable ride. On the way back we did it by motorway and got to Calais in 2 days. We camped, no hotels. So that's 4.5 days getting there and back. Taking into account petrol, toll charges on motorways, campsite costs, daily living expenses etc. it would been cheaper getting a ferry. That would be my choice next time for sure.
5. XTreme Noted. Will try harder
6. Another 120 miles under my belt, mainly in West Sussex (see earlier post). Sea on the south coast is so clear, because of the reduced pollution apparently. Nice place to eat my sandwich. Loads of bikes out and barring one or two, everybody seemed to be behaving themselves. https://i.imgur.com/jXHcgcG.jpg' alt='IMGUR>'> https://i.imgur.com/M2xfpQd.jpg' alt='IMGUR>'>
7. Noticed you live in Surrey, be careful with regards to a smaller plate, Surrey Traffic Police have been going all out on plates and bikers in general the past two weeks: Thanks for the heads up!, it shouldn’t be a huge issue, while it’s a smaller one it’s not taking the piss, just a bit smaller than standard. No worries! Went out for a ride earlier, 2 bike patrols on the A24 southbound after Dorking and 2 more near Box Hill. Didn't see any in West Sussex

9. Easy peasy. With Mackerel, I slit down the belly, remove the innards then place it upright on a chopping board. I then use the palm of my hand to push down on the spine and the fish spreads outwards until it is flat on the chopping board. Then pull out the spinal cord along with the attached bones. Fillet or cook the fish whole. Works every time for me
10. I went out yesterday and risk assessed beforehand, which is natural for me, it's part of my job. If I thought I was at risk, I wouldn't have bothered. I washed my hands before leaving home. Keeping to current guidelines, I met my friend, we had a brief chat from well over 2m then we were on our bikes until we got to the coast. We both brought our trainers and went for a walk, again maintaining social distancing. We both had food and water from home in our rucksacks. Hand sanitiser used again. We saw less than 10 people there and they were a large distance from us. On the way back, stopped for fuel. Paid at the pump. Hand sanitiser before and after using the pump and also used gloves. Then home. Hands washed. Go to a mass biker meet or even a ride out? How can anybody think that's low risk? Sod that.
11. Chain everytime attached to a secure object. Alarms are a waste of money, nobody ever responds. Thieves hate restrictions, a good chain would take an angle grinder and a lot of time to get through. An alarm takes a pair of scissors.
12. Oh, you joker. 4 miles walk out of choice this time. That being said, it'll come in handy for when it does break down
13. Least we managed to get out today mate! We have take our chances at the moment!
14. Was a bit breezy riding along the coast but that's expected I guess! Think we'll all be OK by midweek, looks a hot one
15. Surrey Police were busy yesterday. Small plates seem to be a recurring theme but also dickish riding. I avoided going out yesterday because I thought this might be the case.
16. 22c so just perfect, it's meant to be 27c by Wednesday
17. First decent ride so far this year with my good mate on his Fireblade. 8 weeks of almost constantly working so a day off and the relaxation of restrictions l meant I could give the new Beemer a proper try out. 160 miles through West and East Sussex and a 4 mile walk too. I'm knackered https://i.imgur.com/byhgKd5.jpg' alt='IMGUR>'> https://i.imgur.com/fGglkRX.jpg' alt='IMGUR>'> https://i.imgur.com/xj9aJcb.jpg' alt='IMGUR>'> https://i.imgur.com/kDiMoBK.jpg' alt='IMGUR>'> Bike is ace, no issues at all. Gonna have some fun with this one
18. Mega, I did the same
19. Going to get my exercise in by going for a bike ride, my fitbit picked it up yesterday as 100% fat burn. So riding a motorcycle could technically be classed as exercise.. http://imgur.com/a/RJNc7go.jpg
20. Had a couple of hours out on the bike this afternoon, weather was spot on. Loads of bikers out and the traffic was like a typical Sunday. Nice little run down to Goodwood and back. Bike feels good, all working well although I definitely need to throw some new front brake pads in as soon as I can, there's hardly owt left on them. Nearly all my service parts have turned up now so I'll aim to do that over the next couple of weeks. Was great to be out though, big smile all the time
21. Bought a lower seat for the K12 as I'm on tip toes with the current seat. James Sherlock came up trumps finding me a used one for half the price of a new one
22. Me neither and I live near a road used by a lot of bikers. Might be different at the weekend though. I have a ride planned on Monday to meet up with a mate, observing social distancing of course. Taking sarnies and water in a rucksack, along with hand sanitizer and my trainers for walking. I hope we're not back in strict lockdown by then because everybody's gone bonkers over the weekend!
23. Sorry, I am unable to provide a no risk strategy to living your life. I'm happy to live my life taking calculated risks and enjoy life because of them. Good luck living life risk free. I didn't say I live risk free, I ride a motorbike for goodness sake Thanks for pointing that out. Well done.
