I've never been to silverstone but the toilet facilities etc can't possibly be any worse than donnington! I also hope it won't take 4 hours to get off the car park there

you could look on e bay i wouldn't buy 2nd hand helmet though! aldi and lidl sell cheap motorbike clothing, they don't always have it in stock but it's worth going to check every so often. you could stick a post in the for sale/ wanted section. -

I would say it's normal, it's the cold weather! small engines, especially 2 strokes just don't like the cold!, just warm the engine up gently for longer before you set off and it should be fine

i could well be wobbling around parts of london on a 125 later!

wash muck off at least once a week, rinse with cold water, protect with acf50 or something similar, while you're washing have a look at chain, tyres, brakes etc

a lot of people put a wrist band or something around master cyl reservoir to keep any drips off paint/ bodywork. you could try a bit of ptfe tape on nipple threads.

take it in the house and keep the poor thing warm seriously it probably is just the cold, new spark plug may help

quite useful for diesels! don't know about bikes really, doubt they're worth it

because of the fire at my house i lost all my bike gear, helmet, gloves, boots, leathers, textiles the lot! i've just been to d and k and hg in newcastle u lyme and got an rst helmet, textile jacket and trousers,(neowell) some boots, and gloves for less than £300!, I'm happy! I can ride my bike again sue has pic but we can't get it on here till she gets home on fri

how did they check battery? what with? just cos it reads 13v on a volt meter it doesn't mean it's ok. needs to be tested under load!

just an update managed to get 2 new keys £40. mate took bike for MOT, it failed!!! only a sticky head bearing though so he's going to sort that out. just waiting for some money off insurers so I can buy some more gear and I'll be back on the road
