  1. Anyone doing this ? http://www.hogginthebridge.co.uk/shop/start This will be my 7th year.
  2. Hope you have a great time, just the sort of trip I'd love to do. Hoping to do Poland in the next year or so. £££££££££ dependant.
  3. Have you considered a Long Wheel Base Transit van?? For 4 days, gonna need somat bigger than that
  4. Don't forget to get your 'Lest we Forget' wristband at the RBLR stand. (tell 'em The Welsh Rep sent you, that'll get 'em thinking )
  5. No probs, just don't twat it up for others. Ride with care and show other bridge users room and respect.
  6. Andy, The Bridges are part of my daily commute. If you push across take care as you will get run down by all the bikes being ridden over Ride across (on the footpath slowly), use the footpath you access from the Services slip from the roundabout. As long as you use a bit of common you are unlikely to be stopped anyway, they will only see a small bike with L plates. btw, this is the way my son and others I know use the bridge. If you do get stopped apologise, get off and push the rest of the way. I don't think you will.
  7. A charcoal briquette (as used on yer barbie) in each glove when dry should absorb any odours. Can be used in your sweaty boots and trainers also.
  8. Willow, are you condoning riding naked
  9. For some your probably right , no mater how tongue in cheek the comment. It's all about being safe and able to afford to ride your bike. If you want to look good and impress people buy a ragtop sports car, an Armani suit and a pair of £200 shades.
  10. Being a brand label lover has it's costs eh Price of the lid seems acceptable, as for the rest 'you wuz robbed'. Equally good kit out there for less but won't have the flash (costly) brand name. As long as your happy.
  11. Bex, This from a mate of mine in Swansea hope it is of some help, Looks like she's going to the smu (Swansea metropolitan uni) on mount pleasant First place for her to start - http://www.accommodationforstudents.com/Swansea.asp Town centre or townhill/mayhill would be best, then there's brynmill (in between Swansea uni & Swansea MU) bus service from bvrynmill lousy - jobs wise all she'll find are the various bars or fast food outlets (mcd's/bk/etc) Jobcentre in Swansea (or online) would be a good place to look for jobs
  12. I will be there tonight, European theme night. So expect some Italian exotica, oh and Triumphs. Cracking weather forecast for tonight too, will be expecting 600 to 1000 bikes you never can tell.
  13. How about the one that leads out ?
  14. The Ducati roadshow will be attending on 18 June. You can book test rides on the 2009 range. http://www.ducati.com/od/ducatiuk/event ... ntId=26421
  15. Not I, but I'm only about an hour away if it weren't for the 50's on the M4.
  16. Not the case down South, rarely see Police though I know they are there. They have to be really bored to start on cans, visors & plates unless you have an accident.
  17. Last race of the year/series is a good time for team wear, as many teams will have different sponsors for the next season.
  18. Yeah, well it's nice to have a choice.
  19. Glad your enjoying it. Now why was it I moved to Wales ? (smug)
  20. Try Adtrader ( I don't think they are as strict )
  21. Had last night off work, so went to do a bit of marshaling at the bike night. 732 bikes, this is the first time that bikes have had to be parked on the beach lawns. Heres hoping for many more summer Thursdays.
  22. Plan to be there with The RBLR.
  23. He's the one who has it then, only bad round these parts. Hope it's still like that in 5 weeks time.
  24. Never ridden either but went for the Bandit as I know a few people who ride them and also tour UK and Europe on 'em. They are well happy.
  25. I look at it this way, would you go to Givi to buy a motorcycle ? I think the rest is self explanatory.
