  1. Nice one!
  2. All my answers are perfectly (100%) correct - It is the questions which are suspect!
  3. Use sushi rice and keep it wrapped in lightly oiled cling film. Synthetic Oil OK or should it be SAE40 mineral oil?
  4. Dead? In Hospital? On Holiday? Won the lottery and just does not care anymore? In Prison?
  5. It is highly likely that either the charging circuit has not been re-connected properly or the circuit is 'fried'. You need to investigate with a voltmeter and you will need a wiring diagram. Did you report the theft to your insurer? If yes, it may be worth putting in a claim for the repair to the electrics (including ignition) and get 'experts' to do the work.
  6. What is stated in the contract of employment? If holidays and closures are not specified and the employee is not aware of previous examples, then there is a case to dispute. As mentioned earlier - get legal advice.
  7. BATTER not butter "No idea what Saki is"
  8. Not too much spice. Veg may be better if you dip / flash fry in tempura batter - excellent when cold. Maybe a chilli-based dip? What about Saki - You must have Saki! Make sure the rice balls are not too compact - they should crumble fairly easily.
  9. Sorry - your score to date is.....? Or are you reffering to those who have already started (and have yet to pass my current total)?
  10. If you wish, I'll print your number, laminate it for you and you can collect it?
  11. There will be a 'live' feed to the headlight and switched earth feeds in return. As both went off together - it is 99% likely that it is the feed that is dodgy - check all connectors for tightness and/or corrosion.
  12. No idea mate! But I'll happily buy the next one Make mine a Bacardi please!
  13. But... This year's challenge 100 has had a fantastic start - Well done all those who have ventured out already and KEEP IT UP!
  14. Ollie: 1) Allows folk to get 'that special number' that they wanted last year but someone else had already selected it. 2) People could still 'cheat' by taking pictures of anything that looked 'intersting' but not on that year's list or, think about the Pub tags - These have some duplications. 3) Why not change numbers - It is not very onerous or expensive to make a new 'notice' each year. 4) Because it is (currently) my game and therefore you play by my 'rules' - Yahboo sucks! 5) I can't think of another reason.
  15. Using pure Maths the answer is (and always will be) 42!
  16. Maths! - I was looking at using Trigonometry and 'J' notation to solve this!
  17. Is the 'all you can eat & drink' party at Stu's or Vicci's then?
  18. Ignition switch feed wire to charging relay incorrectly connected will do this.
  19. I have an invisible tattoo detailing the complete works of Shakesphere across my back and another invisible depiction of all 702 'positions' detailed in the original Karma Sutra across my chest.
  20. Basically size don't matter (as long as it is big enough!).
  21. Sure did Mandy! Double F**k It.
  22. Or a cruiser - Priest did exceptionally well in the 2013 Challenge! Anyhoo - Run in as per instructed. 600 miles is nothing!
  23. You can re-centre the hole but it takes a bit of work to do it. Basically you need to make a guide from high-tensile steel plate and attach it (using the other bolts) and drive a decent drill bit (slowly) through the guide ito the bolt. This is best done on the bench (engine out) and then, once clear, helicoil insert. An alternative would be to drill and helicoil as is, 'move' the cover hole and fill the remaining space with alloy weld. Although I am surprised that WD40 (overnight soak); heat and an easy-out have not worked!
  24. When you finish, you will have 10 of each and ten pubs! The 'logic' I use is to plan a full day (or weekend) out and map the route using 'Tyre' - adjust to fit 'tags' and make it possible. If a slight detour pulls in a tag to complete a group, then I do this otherwise. I get the 'finishers' as single trips. NB. Scotland would take more than just a weekend! Bottom line is just enjoy the ride - If you do not get the highest score by the end of the year and therefore do not receive the hugely expensive prize (name at the top of the list), so be it!
