OK - sanded down and another undercoat applied - New paint in the post. However....... Wife says 'you can't go t'domms match as you are doing a BBQ (this Saturday) - Weather forecast... "COLD, Windy and a real chance of heavy rain" F**k It!!!!!!
-
Yes, but you'll be too busy practicing yourn Karioke routine to watch it!
-
Spent hours 'prepping' rear mudguard. Applied 3 coats of primer - great! Applied 2 coats of undercoat - great! Applied 2 coats of top coat (Black Acrylic) - great! Ran out of paint but knew I had another part full tin somewhere - found it and gave a shake - enough for another coat. Applied 1 coat of top coat (Black Double-Acrylic) - Paint 'bubbled' - now got an 'egg-shell' finish! Bu@@er! Why did this happen? I'll need to start again! F**k It!!!!!

That is Creekmoor Lake!

OK, Best route to get a piccy:- A350 through centre of Poole (follow signs for Ferry (Cherbourg / Channel islands). Just before the bridge, turn left (The Quay). Follow this road (water o the right) till you get to a line of Palm Trees - Park and take picture looking out towards Brownsea Island. The wet bit is Poole Harbour.
-
The Harbour - That's the big wet area NNE of the Prison! PS. Top of the hill looking North is a great view. PPS. Don't forget to show your number!
-
You put the CCTV footage on You Tube yet Matty?
-
Instead of a whole big heavy potatoe, can I start off with a crisp?
-
Sorry Mate - I am away sailing until the 19th and T'missus would not be impressed if I 'disapeared' as soon as I got back! I am deffo looking at the 'Lakes' tags at the late May BH if you are interested? Last time, did North Yorkshire en-route and overnight at a 'cheap' Hotel in Ambleside. Either Sat/Sun or Sun/Mon.

That's done it - Bound to bl@@dy well rain now!
-
I'm sure you will pull quite a few more in!

Have you ever...hit an animal/been hit by an animal??
Grumpy Old Git replied to BikerMooFromMars's topic in Motorbike Chat
A dog - (cairn Terrier) - Killed outright - BMW-R90S - No damage to me/bike. A cat - (furry moggie) - decapitated by the front wheel - Bandit 1250 - dropped bike and slight scuff marks only (both bike and me). A Pheasant (kamikaze type - male) - Totally obliterated (at speed) - Bandit 1250 - blood / guts / feathers over the front of the frame & engine as well as all over my textiles from the waist down. Didn't half stink! Narrowly missed a Roe deer in SE Wales last Autumn - How I missed it I have no idea but it was bl@@dy close! -
Got my costume booked - Mrs GOG busy sewing the final bits. Might need a hand with all the electronics and pyrotechnics but there are bound to be one or two semi-sober folk about!

Google Maps puts it correct. Streetmap puts it correct. Navigon Satnag puts it near the centre of Bury St Edmonds!!! However, putting in the name of the village takes you to the road junction just up from the bridge (which is visible from there). Dad's Army Museum put me in a council estate - But less than a mile away. A143 is now on my list of 'great bike routes'. Next trip will either be the rest of the SE or the Midlands.

For a cheap night out at a beer festival, I highly recommend doing what Ollie used to do and having samples from all the different stalls - highly entertaining! Moo has recently become an auntie and gonna go see her 1st ever nephew! And my bro and his fiancee's new place. Woop!! I have purchased baby Theo a load of cool stuff, a few cow bits too of course http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k96/spastic_potato/IMG_8561_zps1067aac8.jpg I've never really been bothered about a baby before, but for the first time I'm excited to see one!! NO BIKES ON THE KIDDY CLOTHES!!!!!!!!!!!

G clamps Alan once the plate is so far on use a nut over the rivet head so you can push either side of the plate Used this method loads of times (even though I have a chain splitter tool somewhere ) Removal is easy with an anvil, cold chisel and lump hammer!
