    rough ride

ooh I think I know this one, the two on the left with white residue show it's running lean but the other two look ok. If the carbs are unbalanced even I know that will cause it to run bad (used to have a twin carb car that was never balanced and was a pig when cold). I found trying to balance them (even with a gizmo) a pain in the behind. Hours later still wasn't spot on. Knew a guy who could do it by ear in two minutes!

Mine was running quite bad too. I fixed mine with redex and pretending it was fine until it fixed itself I know even less than Rant, do not listen to me

  9. 125s are loads of fun I just feel a bit safer on the north circular having a bit of extra grunt but the intruder is a little gentler than a lot of 125s. Also it tends to die when stopping unless you keep the revs high
  10. If you're planning on riding in the rain I'd suggest spending a tad more to get some with gortex/drytex /nonbrandtex wet cold hands make you miserable really really quickly
  11. I would but work keeps getting in the way
  12. Tis an oldie so sorry if posted before I couldn't find it. Randomly remembered it for some reason earlier and made me chuckle! https://youtu.be/VSk7QS2xfwg
  13. The original post was from 7 months ago so I am guessing if he hasn't cleared out the garage yet it's not going to get done Tis a nice bike! Although not quite green enough for my liking hahaha
  14. Wine cheese and casual violence? Count me in!
  15. Idle screw should look similar to this. http://i291.photobucket.com/albums/ll294/VeX86BirD/Carb%20sync/IdleAdjustmentknob.jpg
  16. Hmm our bikes have the idle screws easily accessible on the side... but a cursory Google makes it look like yours are under the fuel tank? My recommended idle is 1300 but it's not happy at that (prefers 1500) so imagine yours is really not happy at 800!
  17. I rode for a couple years between cbt and das (realised I only had a month left on the cbt so had to get my act together!!) Nerves seem to be an issue on the mod1 but 4 days is enough to give you the skills to pass. Just take a deep breath between each section there's no time limit Agree with throttled after you do the cbt you'll have a feel for it and can take it from there. The instructors will be able to offer advise for the das too
  18. Ack that sucks fro although they are a lot better and quicker with credit cards... Tango was your ex debit card? They tend to drag their feet more when it's your own money
  19. I have a party the night before. I will not be in a fit or legal state to ride
  20. Wasn't the key in the ignition? I feel I'm being stupid again. ..
  21. It's not that! We understand the individual words just not a clue what they mean when put together cuz we ain't down wit the kidz
