1. Ugh common sense is definitely dying out. The amount of times people at work freak out about stuff going wrong rather than just sorting it out I am getting slightly more mellow in my old age If I find myself getting annoyed I go plan some more bike rides
2. mine doesn't have a gauge or a light. You get good at resetting the trip meter and refuelling at a set mileage
3. this is the closest parts catalogue I can find but it's for a 2000 model so not sure how helpful it is https://www.bike-parts-suz.com/suzuki-identification-bike-model_nn.php?ChildNavID=422 that in turn leads to a part number you can backorder here https://www.fowlersparts.co.uk/search/part/09492-30010-000
4. is this an import? seems to be mainly new Zealand sites coming up in searches. best bet may be to see if any UK models share parts...
5. Raesewell as it turns out
6. Stu you get discount on being a gold member on myrouteapp if you used tyre so I think they are linked somehow and maybe tyre is getting phased out?
7. I thought I had but it turns out I had not And yeah zoom ALL the way in to check the way points! Also if you use co-pilot set the maps to HERE to make the conversion (theoretically) more accurate
8. if six had got the mod gig you'd have got a solid 8 hours sleep
9. tends to happen a lot round here Old timer I wouldn't worry about it
10. I couldn't quite afford zarco but folger is a safe points scorer!
11. Yep, sorry, shit and balls and dagnabit. *hugs* you been on the hooch again? or just drunk on pastys?
12. hope you're ok bonio bloody women drivers
13. I'm happy with that
14. from my limited experience most places do require a physical copy of your license... but if it doubt give them a call

18. absolutely fine to start riding straight away here's the DVLA page for reference (it's towards the bottom) https://www.gov.uk/motorcycle-test/module-2-onroad-test oh and congratulations
19. As someone who has had the cable snap on them whilst riding - get it changed now! It's not fun
20. Buy me a ticket and I'll live stream it to you
21. if you turn around on a pivot point you turn 180 to back the way you came. if you're going around a roundabout you must travel the entire way round a circle thus 360 degrees.
22. fun fact: I did it at Stevenage and you liked the post of my bike out front the centre on facebook
23. ..so a 360? Nah, stopped after 90, he came shooting across the front of me over other side of the mini roundabout, I did the second 90 and followed him back down the road. He looked sheepish for all of 1/2 a second, he knew I'd saved us both a nasty smash, but then the attitude kicked back in and he went back to his gangsta rap and dont give a shit mode, innit. but you were planning on doing 360 if you were going to go all the way round.. 180 is straight on
