  1. It's nice that they gave you the time to explain it
  2. Replating - that really floats my boat
  3. What you getting from b&q? Couple of cheeky 200mph grow bags and a pergola kit? What's the "lash-on" capacity of a gsx?
  4. Up to the early 80's I could phone up and get an MOT! Long gone are those days Hmmm I'm not sure about that.
  5. No taking the seat off? Of course, to get to the crisps!
  6. Changed the oil, taxed it, rode it 50 miles and ate a packet of crisps. A lot of happy nodders out
  7. Looked at my hero blobs and reminisced at how cool I was last year. Then remembered the Chinese radiator I fitted last year as well, which had almost immediately sprung a small leak and probably still needs seeing to.
  8. Yeah, for a laugh I tried to see how much travel insurance would be... No quotes available. I suppose closer to date if everything is tickety boo (ish) then I'll be able to get a policy 5mins before setting off as usual.
  9. Cliques stick to their own clique rules of course, set by a (self appointed) clique leader. Are these new rules set in law then? Has the original act been amended? Does it need to be? I'm not keeping up.
  10. I'm not sure what that accent is, but it doesn't fit with the scenary. Confused.org/sornmymember
  11. Got to have something nice to look forward to Just buy a blade week before and lash a tent on
  12. Sounds well that Honda
  13. Haha bugger. It's a shame he doesnt bring it back for a good session of water fetch, it's about the only activity where mine shows any signs of having had enough, normally by not fetching the ball that last time.
  14. He pedals and I steer, otherwise we'd end up in the water.
  15. I like to cycle with my dog.
  16. Last night I made schnitzel for tea with loads of chips and a lettuce heavy salad. And loads of magi, which I found in the cupboard - it was given to me the first time I did the trip. It expired in 2015. Few things missing though, the delicious greasy gravy, the Bitburg and the bloody annoying bast*rds ripping me for having the seat off and needing a new clutch and stuff. Ive not yet set a countdown on my phone, which is just not right so I'll sort that out. I normally use it to judge the time for picking the correct size main bearings ready for the off. Hmm plenty of time yet.
  17. Was just today thinking about the time me and 'ar lass went to Portugal the first time, somewhere on the south coast. Larvely time, then went to Porto, again, laaarvely time and I fancy a bit of port now
  18. No charge. Having someone else around, even to hold your handbag during a session is a nice idea though, I'm always leaving my stuff with the marshalls, which they don't seem to mind at all but it would save a bit of faff. And then you've got someone to explain your favourite overtakes and lairy moments to between sessions an' all.
  19. Yeah it's a nice place, been a few times now. Only other one I've done is Mallory, which was my first. It was pretty funny, very early in the year and full of club racers getting their eye in for the season. Even then during the morning briefing the instructor got his words muddled - "remember it's a test day not a track day... err no I mean track day not test! Look after the novices!". The groups were novice&inters and inters&racers haha so a broad mix of novice numpties and loonatics on tracked gixxers. Where they'd normally have a third group they were doing race licence instruction I think. Even so, after a few goes round the nerves came down and down and I don't remember being stuffed up so it can't have been that bad. When/if things reopen I just hope I can get a slot quick enough! With MSV if possible, they're a bit quieter, not as many numbers as no limits. Oh and thinking about petrol again, there are two stations nearby but they aren't that near. Doable between sessions but I prefer to pay the on site price and have a rest. Or go at dinner, ages of time then. Although past two times I've had me awld man come and bring us 10l and a nice sandwich Apparently it's not sold at a profit, they just don't sell enough to get the wholesale cost down, we'll that's what they say...
  20. I have to go round the outside, on a 400, like a true racing hero
  21. Ahh that description of the turns. I can ride the course in my head now, which is nice during these trying times, though in my head the apexes are always on cue and no panic during some what-i-thought-was-only-slightly-later-than-last-time braking. Ahhh and the wind in my hair and the sun beating down, and only wearing shorts and trainers; in many ways lockdown trackdays are better, even the pit girls are nicer. Whilst I went for a wander and a spectate during the fast group's turn a fella asked me how fast I'd be going at the end of park straight, I didn't have a clue!
  22. Dunno if they make other bits but it's nice that they are rebadging norbars instead of some random alibaba stuff.
  23. Oooh a game to play. https://i.imgur.com/12llqnOl.jpg' alt='IMGUR>'> Had more than I expected but half are crap ones from crap sets. Nice torque wrench doins stu, I had a look to see its limit, only goes up to 350Nm ish which is good but I had to do a stupid job recently that needed to click at 450Nm... I botched up an extender for the trusty Halfords torque breaker bar. I can't show the welds as I will laughed at heavily. But it's just a pipe with a useless 11mm socket "welded" to it and ratchet shoved down the business end. https://i.imgur.com/qOtAbLYl.jpg' alt='IMGUR>'> Almost interestingly I think Norbar make those Halfords jobs, and they also make these... which I snapped a pic of whilst wandering around work (so it's not my willy to wave really). https://i.imgur.com/RWIxjnml.jpg' alt='IMGUR>'> Despite its size it still only goes up to 350Nm as well.
  24. Or they might take it for the scrap value
