Dates align for us as well !
Look forward to seeing you there.
Thanks @Grumpy Old Git for sorting.
Cheers

Will you be able to cope emotionally with seeing your old bike ?

Not sure how you got 36 months Bob as it only goes up to 12 unless you added it 3 times
6x6 months by mistake , done now .

Trying to subscribe , accidentally clicked on 36 months . Now I can't find subscriptions at all .

Slow day at the paint testing facility was it ?

F**k me ! You've actually agreed on a date and venue .
Probably won't be camping but I'll definitely make every effort to look in at some point ..

What did I do to my bike today ? Nothing . Not the day before or the day before that . Give it another few weeks though and I'll probably get round to pressing the Start button . In the meantime , having spent November and December in and out of hospital , I've been knocking out a few model aeroplanes and learning the art of Airbrushing .

The amount of oil and or additive that is " Absorbed " by Clutch Plates is negligible in my opinion . Good luck though .

That’s the one. The road to the south, from Langholm to Newcastleton is a nice little run. Single track with passing places, it’s not one for speed merchants but perfectly pleasant with fine views.
I'm always looking for alternative routes for my next trip to Scotland .

The title says it all .

That’s on the road from the A7 near Fiddleton to Hermitage Castle. The first half mile or so is more like trail riding, with gravel and potholes galore, but then becomes this pleasant little lane.
If I find a moment or two I’ll share the route using MyRouteApp.
Found it . I have a large map of Scotland on my wall made from pulling apart two cheap atlases and sellotaping the pages together .

Heard back from Bull in't'Thorns
They are open from April
32 camping pitches
Function room available for hire
NO B&B rooms!
Perfect for me . That's a brilliant run from Coventry .

You do realise that this thread is essentially a clunky version of Facebook .

That would be just lazy lol.
I think the place suggested by @Grumpy Old Git would be fine !
Good to see you back after your sojourn in hospital mate.
Cheers

A long way to go but I'm on the mend .

I'm sure there are some excellent venues equidistant from Burton Latimer and Coventry .

What about a yurt?
If it fits on a bike , fine .

I'd be up for that but I don't think Campervans are very in keeping with the spirit of the thing . Just saying .

I've been aware of this thing for years but what exactly is it ?

A happy new year to everyone on the forum . It's been a bitter sweet one for me . I can say that I've owned two Harleys but sadly not at the same time . On the downside I have been neglecting my health and put on loads of weight which was a major contributory factor in my recent spell in hospital . BUT , I got away with it and I'm not about to blow a second chance . Slimming World , lookout !

Currently running a Keeway K light 125cc. However the dashboard display light is always on. This is very distracting while riding, especially at night.
Does anyone know how to dim it. It doesn't dim when using full beam either.
Any help appreciated
What exactly do you mean by Dashboard Display Light ?

So that's practically unanimous in favour . I'll tell you what I think has no place at the Christmas dinner table , Cauliflower Cheese . Cauliflower if you must , but cheese ?

Yeah , I'm fighting back to regain my health . I've joined Slimming World again and lost over a stone in 5 weeks . The Harley is running great again after I changed the plugs but it might have just been my imagination . I think my riding technique on it has greatly improved having come to it fresh after the winter . Last year I had to transition from the Sportster which needed more gear changes whereas this year everything feels more natural .
