1. Sorry Bianco......forgot to add my best wishes! Six's tits put me on another track! Are they Six's Tits? The op must have gone really well. Six30, more like Sex30.
2. Only just seen the post. Thanks everyone
3. Fonzie Main
4. My 1987 Yam RD350YPVS F2.
5. Finished putting the wheels back in the Silverwing and took it for a gentle ride; New tyres, damp roads, steady as she goes.
6. Can't you siphon some fuel out to make it easier?
7. The leaving room? Where are you going? It is stupid autocorrect that change words automatically. As I use English, Italian and Croatian on a daily base, most of the time computer gets confused as I am as well. Ha yes, auto correct can cause some amusing statements. My car was in for some repairs and the guy text me to say about collection and rather than "I'll pick you up" it autocorrected to "I'll lick you up". Err, no thanks I'll just have my car back please.
8. Wheels back in the scooter with their new tyres. Birthday party tomorrow night (not mine) Sunday pm,afternoon tea at Brownsover Hall.
9. The leaving room? Where are you going?
10. Took the wheels off of the scooter in anticipation of fitting new boots. Bit disappointed in the life I've got out of the Contiscoot tyres, only around 3000 miles or so, fitted them in October iirc. The rear tyre is completely shot, pressures all been ok. I do ride it fairly hard and its quite a heavy bike but 3000 miles is worse than I get out of a rear tyre on my 150hp R1 The underside of it was completely plastered in mud, so took all that off and gave it a wash. All this was done outside this morning dodging the torrential rain showers.
11. If anyone's speedo shows 25624 miles today what song should they start singing?
12. fastbob did you see Ikea is closing its Zombie town branch? That and Machine Mart were the only two reasons I'd venture into the twilight zone.
13. Some good trivia there if it ever gets asked in a pub quiz
14. Was riding the scooter home tonight and clocked the odometer at 57705. The number 5705 immediately sprung to my mind that it was a cheesy 70s song, but couldn't remember the artist. Youtube'd it when I got home and found it was City Boy in 1978. Now I can't shift the tune out my head, fk you Honda speedo :
15. Yes I was going to ask if you could move Cov a few miles westward, we have standards to keep up you know.

17. I'd also be concerned about it not being insured and it being nicked. As everyone has said find a friend, relative, local bike shop anywhere trusted to stash it even if you have to bung them a few quid.
18. Wasn't their survey, its in all mainstream media, just picked that one as it used big words Just jealous cos your town isn't on there??
19. A national survey says the my home town of Rugby is the 15th best in the country. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/property/article-7943243/Do-live-one-50-best-places-live-Britain-2020.html Don't want to be negative towards it but there must be some real sh1tholes around if Rugby is that great. Anyone else's town on the list?
20. Looks good but would you get sick of the Top Gun,Tom Cruise comments. Will a they hand out a pair of aviators with every purchase?
21. Replaced the front pads on the Silverwing. Been a definite drop off in front braking power in the last couple of hundred miles. I had replaced the front caliper about 3000miles ago and the pads were fine, the bike weighs 250kgs and only has a weedy single disc so looks like its quite heavy on the brakes.

23. Whatever gave you the impression I was a responsible employer? In any case, since they have not been personally identified on here they would only suffer defamation at the point they chose to identify themselves publicly by bringing a prosecution, thereby invalidating their case. It's a bit like the Streisand Effect. As a mid manager at a firm with 500 employees and 9 in my charge, I've had some experience with stuff posted online and its consequences so just highlighting the risks. Whatever you post online is on there forever and you don't know where it gets reposted, quoted or who reads it. I am pretty sure if I bad mouthed any of my lot online and got caught I'd at least get reprimanded and at worst dismissed. And likewise if my manager did the same I would call him to account. Just don't want you to fall into a big old bear trap
24. Ha! My wife and I own the company, and consequently do most of the work. To be honest this has made a nice change from pushing emails around and chasing debtors, which is how I spend most of my time: I actually got to see something tangible that I'd made, which was quite satisfying. I don't want to sound down on young 'uns or tar them all with the same brush, but the total lack of gumption does astound me sometimes. In addition to the drip I mentioned above, we had another girl off today with a headache ( ), and last week a young lad came to see us because he was suffering from 'stress and anxiety'. And you can't just tell them to man-up and grow a pair either, which is a pity. He should try sitting in my chair for a month or two, with 27 people's salaries to pay... Luckily I managed to find something supportive to say, because the whole time he was talking to me the only thing going round and round in my head was those two WWII airmen off the Armstrong & Miller Show: "Are you gay? Are you a batty man? You sound well bent, isn't it..." As a responsible employer, is it wise to bash your employees online, you could be sued for defamation of character, or "some such shit, isn't it".
