  1. Horse is in the pub having a few when spots a donkey in the corner so he nips over to have a natter, donkey asks "what did you do for a living" horse says " I ran on the flat in the summer and over the jumps in the winter", Donkey says "I worked with the kids on Blackpool beach" , then he asks "did you win anything" horse says "yeah on the flat I won the Oaks, St. Leger and the Derby and over the jumps I won the Grand National and the Gold Cup”, they arrange to meet at the donkey's house a week later, donkey thinks, "I need to impress this guy he's done everything" , so he buys a big picture of a zebra and hangs it above the fireplace, the horse arrives and says "lovely place you have here and who's that in the picture on the wall", donkey replies " that's me when I played for Juventus.
  2. After several attempts, I've finally had sex with my girlfriend on the back of a motorcycle. It was a Triumph
  3. No worries beans, I’ll pm you my number, I’m in most evenings from 5pm, drop me a txt and I’ll send you my address.
  4. To be honest mate, I'd rather not, my work hours make it hard to get to the post office, which is the main reason why they're free.
  5. I've been having a bit of a clear out and I have a couple of Jackets that I no longer use, if anyone wants them they are free to collect from Stockport. 1, Oxford Bone dry textile 3/4 length jacket with removable inner liner. Size = XL, fully armoured, Shoulder Elbow and Back, approximate 3 years old, all zips in working order. 2, Leather Jacket, fully armoured, non branded but a decent quality summer jacket Size = M, this was my youngest lads but he's outgrown it now. Both are in excellent condition and the price is right as well.
  6. To be honest, riding in this cold, wet, windy weather at night is not the best conditions for regaining confidence, the most confident riders can be unnerved by it so it must be a nightmare after an off. Maybe park the bike up until spring (if possible) and then get out in better conditions to regain your confidence in dry bright conditions.
  7. I've had both PR3's and PR4's (on PR4's currently), found them both to be excellent tyres, the only time I've encountered tracking was with the 3's when they started to square off, but as I'd done nearly 8k on them it was to be expected. My 4's will be changed early this year for another set of the same as they've now covered 7k and are starting to square. Never had a puncture in either of them, I doubt the tyre itself would be prone to puncturing compared to another type, you've probably just been extremely unlucky with them,
  8. A load of pikeys came into my local last night, mouthing off and threatening to batter everyone. The locals said nothing and let them carry on, but not me, I decided to show them exactly what I’m made of. Turns out it’s fragile bones and lots of blood
  9. What do we want? An end to Acronyms When do we want it? ASAP.
  10. I learned two interesting facts today: It's not as easy as you'd think, having a shit on a moving train. And my ban covers ALL Hornby shops.
  11. It'll feel much better after you've worn it for a while. Wear it to bed, that'll do the trick.
  12. I would, but I kinda get the feeling that because first and foremost they are a business that I'll just get told "You HAVE to buy a new one" Yeah I'm really happy with the helmet as well, absolutely loving it as it doesn't steam up as much as my old helmet used to (I have pinlock but I wear glasses and unfortunately they can't have pinlock lol) I'm not sure they would tell you to replace it without good reason though, they are a very reputable company that have been around for many years. I would think you'd get a reasonable assessment from them of potential damage that may have been caused by such a fall, they will probably say they can't assess it without examination, but you may be surprised, they could tell you it's nothing to worry about, nothing ventured nothing gained but at least you'd get the manufacturers input into your worries. No offence to anyone who's given advice on this thread but I think they're the people to ask.
  13. Might be worth dropping AGV UK an email and asking for their opinion. I have the same Helmet by the way, It's a belter.
  14. To be fair, there are many decent second hand Jackets, Trousers, Gloves available if you have time to trawl ebay, I got a 2nd Hand Scott leather jacket for £35.00 a few years ago and it was almost brand new, still wearing it today as well (well not right now, I've just got out the bath). Join a few facebook motorbike groups, there are always people flogging stuff they no longer use or have outgrown, you just have to be patient and wait for the right bargains. I wouldn't buy a 2nd hand lid (just a personal choice that) but you can get a decent new one for less than £100 these days.
  15. I've always been extremely proud that my father followed long family tradition and named his first born after himself. My sister Alan hates it though..
  16. 1974 Suzuki GT250. I still look this young today. http://i63.tinypic.com/2vw8h1d.jpg
  17. I grew up in a really rough area. When I was a kid people used to cover me in Chocolate and cream and put a Cherry on top of my head. Life was tough growing up in the Gateaux
  18. No I didn't mate , don't like panniers. I'm the same, I think they spoil the look of the bike, mine came with them but I've only had them on once when I went away for a few days, they did come in handy mind, got loads of kit in em. They'll be making another appearance this weekend though as I'm off to a rally in Cambridge. http://i67.tinypic.com/30sinug.jpg
  19. Lovely bike, in the proper colour as well. Did you get the panniers with it?
  20. It's well worth doing what the manufacturer recommends as far as running in goes, get the miles under your belt and be patient with it, once you've done it you can enjoy it. As Trigger said "Look after your Broom"
  21. Just drove past the local gay bar and seen it was on fire, luckily there was already 12 firemen attending to it. There was also 10 policemen, 13 Construction workers, 8 cowboys and 5 Red Indians.
  22. Not got a clue what would cause that, maybe something not replaced correctly when re fitting the wheel, but my first port of call would be to whoever fitted the tyre as the problem only occurred since they worked on the bike.
  23. http://i64.tinypic.com/34ihhy8.jpg This is my latest one, I won't put the forum through the trauma of showing my arse tattoos.
  24. I've just purchased a Quechua arpenaz 2+ From Decathlon, £29.99, nice and compact when packed away (57x18x9cm, 2.9kg). I'm doing the Reaperfest Rally in Cambridge at the end of the month, I won't know until then if it's any good or not. I'll report back with a review. I have my fingers crossed.
