  1. Sad to see Glen Campbell has died from Alzheimers. His family said in a statement "He was getting cards and letters from people he didn't even know".
  2. I have the Rolling Stones lips picture (The Album cover of 40 licks) on each cheek.
  3. Try getting a tattoo on yer arse, now that's proper pain. I appreciate that this post is of no help whatsoever to the OP.
  4. I'm going to do my best to get there for the ride out, simply because the yonderman Brekky is a thing of beauty.
  5. I went into the florists yesterday and said "I would like a nice bunch of flowers for the wife please" The Florist replied "Certainly, are you after anything in particular"? "Hopefully a Blowjob I replied.
  6. Thanks all it's much appreciated. Beefy got me soaking wet riding home from Hawes today, but we did have a top day out before the rains came.
  7. I got locked out by the Chairwoman of the local Euphemism society last night. So I smashed her back doors in.
  8. Splice it into a switched live and you'll be much better off.
  9. That's a load of rubbish for a start, 60 seconds? In my dreams maybe.
  10. There's only one thing for it. DIVORCE!! It's the only fair thing to do.
  11. "Palestine model shot dead in Israel" I hope it was Wallace, coz I really like Gromit.
  12. Son: Why is my sister called Teresa? Dad: Coz your mum loves Easter - it's an anagram Son: Thanks dad Dad: No problem Alan
  13. I had a Z750 that used to do this, especially in hot weather like it is now, It was nothing to worry about, it didn't affect the bike in any way, it was just a bit annoying. it'll be the hot weather.

    Mod Gig

I've not been here that long but I'd be good Mod, I've had 20 odd years experience at keeping Beefy under control. Then again, there's no way I'm buying a Lambretta, wearing a parka with a big target on the back and listening to Quadrephenia on repeat.
  15. If you're a regular road user you were probably clicking on the hazards too soon, it sounds daft but it won't register as a hit if you're too quick on the button, take your time with them and give them a second or two after you see them before you hit the button.
  16. As above Halfords professional range are excellent, come with a lifetime guarantee as well, you break it they replace it. can't say fairer than that.
  17. Never forget to remove a disc lock before riding off. Sounds obvious but it happens more often than you'd imagine.
  18. It's possible the rain is getting in the plugs/Carbs/Coil causing the misfire. How could I possibly fix this if that's happening? For a quick fix for the plugs/coil WD40 is your friend, spray it all over them, carbs would probably need a proper looking at, cleaning etc.

    Tyre choices

I'm currently running the PR4's, very happy with them, a great all rounder, great in the dry and superb in the wet. I'm up to 6k on the current ones and they should see the summer out for me. I had the PR3's before these and they were very good as well but I'll definitely be sticking with the 4's when it's time to change again. I bought the bike with Bridgestones (BT16's) on and frankly couldn't get rid of them quick enough.
  21. I just get my phone out and use the calculator on that. Bought a Halfords professional socket set a couple of years ago when they were on offer with 50% off, been well impressed with it, quality tools the professional range.
  22. I'm stuck between the two cyclists that were riding two abreast on a country lane (NS) or the woman in her range rover who decided the best time to pass them was going round a left hand bend and crossing the double whites by at least half a car whilst doing so. Especially as I and my mates were coming the opposite way round the bend, if I'd been 2 ft nearer the centre of the road it would have been catastrophic, she missed me by about 6 inches whilst I was leant into the bend. Her face was like and mine was like Saved only by decent road positioning and a huge amount of luck. Got home and changed my pants.
